OOC- For information on the green parties, look here: http://s3.zetaboards.com/nationstates/topic/7031186/1 IC- -- Kasnyian News Service -- Hello and Welcome to KNS News, your election headquarters! As the other parties began their campaign, the liberals have completed their efforts and are now ready to take a vote for leadership of their parliamentary bloc. A day before the polls, here is how everything looks: The Communist Limeys (consiting of the KPSP and the CPK-M), long set aside for their previous affiliation with the discredited Proletariat Magnus, are banking on the discord among segments of society as observed by recent Brown movement and the surprising finish in the Orange Primaries by the Coral Party. However, in order to get their ban on participation lifted, they have also agreed to drop some of their more radical proposals. We will see how this effects their chances, if their promises gain more followers or lose them. Certainly they will have stiff competition. In lieu of the adhoc, jerry-rigged manner the government has been operating in lieu of both the Dominion Wars and the precarious state of the Emperor's health, the Teal Movement (earlier a mere pressure group in national politics) has gained a following in recent years to push for reform in the Imperial Government, which has seen no fundamental changes since before the monarchy was promoted from a Grand Duchy to an Empire, or even before it opened its doors to the world nearly 60 years ago. Rivaling them both in message and popularity is the Emerald League which, like the Limeys, have had to moderate their message a bit to make it on the ballot, but still maintain their Parliament-first message, opposing the more widespread message of the PRPK. Time will only tell who will get to the top in THIS brawl. OOC- This is the first of the blocs that generally has a significant (above 10%) share of seats, so vote wisely with this one. I'll also be keeping the polls open longer for it to get more people. Those who have been voting, thank you. Those who haven't, I could use your votes (as in actual choices, not null options). Thanks in advance to all. |

-- Kasnyian News Service -- Hello and welcome to KNS, your election headquarters! The votes are continuing to come in and we will have the results in soon, but first some breaking news: It seems the Veteran's League has challenged the vote for the Orange Front, accusing the Coral Party of fraudulent votes. The Imperial Election Commission has agreed to look at the votes again and may demand a recount. More later as the story breaks. For the Green Bloc, its looking like a total rout for the parliamentarianist Emerald League, but its still being considered too soon to call. OOC- Calling it on Friday evening. |

OOC- Bumping for the sake of gathering votes. IC- It has been agreed by the Imperial Election Commission that the distribution of seats for the Orange Front will be changed to reflect the true spread of votes. |

OOC- Y'know, when I called the earlier rounds people continued to vote anyway and now when I give everyone a chance to get their vote in, no one is doing so beyond the few that vote within the first day in all the rounds. Don't wait on me to call it. Vote. Or if not, then don't vote AFTER the vote is called. Thanks. |

OOC- Calling it. IC- -- Kasnyian News Service -- Hello and welcome to KNS, your election headquarters! And the results are in. And ladies and gentlemen, it is a total and absolute rout by the Emerald League! As usual, the Limeys will remain an extraparliamentary force in politics. The stunning defeat of the Reformist coalition has not dampened their spirits, saying they will still contest local body elections and act as a pressure group on the Grand Parliament once elections are over in the middle of their concessionary speeches to victors of the primary. This has been as KNS special report. |
