OOC- For information on the purple parties, look here: http://s3.zetaboards.com/nationstates/topic/7031186/1 IC- -- Kasnyian News Service -- Hello and welcome to KNS, your election headquarters! The Protestants were out in force today, so soon after the end of the Orange Primary a few days ago, to show support for Purple Alliance. In recent years there has been trouble with what has been dubbed the "Indigo Movement", primarily consisting of the Church of the Savior in Kasnyia (CSK) and what is considered by many to be its political wing, the Reform Party of Christ the Savior (RPCS). As both have been deemed hate groups by decree of the Emperor, they will not be allowed to take part in elections nor to assemble. While there have been rumors that they attempt to defy the ban, nothing has been confirmed by anyone. In the midst of such drama however, the PLEPM of the famed Amethyst League has managed to get organized and campaigning though it is unknown what support they will have as it is the first time Protestant monarchists have attempted to engage the political process. We wish them luck, along with the Magenta List, though polls indicate the PSR simply doesn't have the money this year to likely make it the whole way through the process. More interesting, however, has been the rise of the CDPK and their alliance of regional parties, the Lavender Front. With quiet support from the Yellows, foreign-based Protestant congregations, and several local protestant churches of some renown, they certainly have the organization and the money. Let's see if the people like their message now. In other news, it is said that the Brown affiliated political blocs, astounded by the Coral Party win among the Orange Front, even if it is only that of a minority position, have come out in street protests, in a rare show of support for a non-Brown political party. This has been a KNS Special Election Report! |

OOC- Calling it. CDPK wins control with the other two having equal minority seats. IC- -- Kasnyian News Service -- Hello and welcome to KNS, your election headquarters! The Central Executive Committee of the CDPK conducted a press conference today just hours after their party's victory was announced by the Imperial Election Commission. They congratulated their rivals on a well-fought primary and promised to make good on their promises to the people if their bloc was elected to the Grand Parliament. |
