Field Marshal Posts: 4,159 Group: Veterans Member #149 Joined: June 1, 2005	I have a dedicated Minecraft server, that can support up to 50 people at once. It also has the Factions mod on it, so you can own land and build whatever you want. Wars, politics, allies, backstabbing, etc. I'm also going to work on getting the DynMap installed which will allow people to simply go to a web page, and get a nice top down view of the entire map and see where people are (assuming they aren't sneaking) and such. Now. I haven't opened it yet. Not fully, as the bukkit community needs to update their shit and I hate running an outdated version. My question for you gents is this: Would you be interested in playing? It would be something a bit different from the usual stuff going on around here, and frankly... I'd like to see what you guys can build/destroy. Only reason I ask is because I'm half in the bag and I was kind of day dreaming about some of the RP nations here, in Minecraft, invading territories and leaving trails of destruction behind them. I built a sky castle of doom with stairs down to the lava flows in the depths. I can see why people like it. I can also see how much of a pointless waste of time it is, if you can't save. I think I would consider the purchased game a good artistic medium. I enjoy creating. It's the same reason why I like the Sims.

However, I will hand out shit if people are doing a huge project. Example: We had a guy take the note blocks you can make in game, and using redstone circutry... he created the entire Nyancat song. It loops. I gave him a hefty reward, and made the area a 'safe zone' so no one can destroy it. We've also had two groups running around fighting each other. TNT cannons, sword fights, arrow barrages, and fortresses being raided and counter raided. I'll be 'opening' the server for people here pretty soon. Only reason I haven't yet is because the server is 'outdated' and needs to be updated to the current edition of minecraft... which is being delayed due to the fact I'm working 12 hours a day and haven't had a chance to get on top of that.
