I just wanted to apologise for my slightly extended absence from these forums after I came back from my 2/3 year hiatus. Whilst I originally stated when I first came back that I had plenty of free time, at the beginning of October I managed to get a number of people that wanted to learn English privately with me and so my time was pretty much taken up. However, now that it's nearly Christmas that has now finished and I, once again, have plenty of free time. Though, I am unsure how long after Christmas this will last. This is because I am moving from where I currently live in Brazil (Teresina, Piauí) to Recife, Pernambuco. It's a much bigger city than Teresina, on the beach and frequented by lots of international tourists. I'm hoping that when I get there I may be able to get work in a bar or something like that as opposed to teaching in English Language schools as I would like to improve my Portuguese (I spend the majority of my time here in Brazil speaking and listening to English). So, maybe, I will once again, have my time limited and not be able to come on here very much...but, this time, I will make much more of an effort to post here than I have done recently. On a sidenote, I don't suppose anyone knows anything about UK Immigration Law? Or knows someone that does? |
