Having a birthday during dead week is awesome. I'm hoping that I can successfully renew my driver's license today so that I don't have to take my passport to the bar to get a drink. I don't really think about what the girl I'm hooking up with should be doing at any point in time. I make a point about not thinking about it actually. She does what she wants. I do what I want. Sometimes those two things happen to be the same thing. When it warrants more thought, I'm sure I'll devote some small amount of time to it. Didn't end up going to the bar. Went out to dinner with one of my roommates, came home, split a nice bottle of rye that was bought for me, and had cake. It wasn't bad. Certainly better than I expected.
