Alanus Lansdale, in one of his final acts as English Prime Minister, arrived at Armagh, though somewhat uneasy considering his links with the Brotherhood that he was now more clearly aware of. As far as he knew, however, nobody outside the Brotherhood was clear on this.

His concerns were aggravated further when Knight Master Aelius and his contingent of Knights arrived at the wedding, shortly afterward.

Unfortunately immersed in activities and duties that required her attention, President Gularis was not in the position to witness such a joyous occasion herself. Therefore, it was decided that the Porcuian Head of Government would attend on behalf of the People and Parliament of Porcu.

One of the first foreigners to arrive, Prime Minister Lucius Ollo van der Vaars was anxious to see other foreign delegates and delve into the international arena, something uncommon for most Prime Ministers of Porcu.

OOC- I'd like to attend, but I've forgotten what the nature of the relationship is between any of my nations and the Irish.
OOC: Our original alliance was between Sedulion and Alexanderhaven via the marriage of Grandmaster Stiofan Pol O'Siadhail and Princess Edywinna. When Stiofan became High King of Ireland, that alliance would have carried over, Edywinna being High Queen of Ireland. When William O'Siadhail became High King, Edywinna would have been Ireland's queen mother. She would be long dead by now, as are all of my characters of that generation, but her and Stiofan's line live on through William II, who is in the care of the late William's wife, Cecile, in Brittany. She stepped down as High Queen of Ireland to allow election of a new High King, an election which the current High King, Aodh O'Neill, won. So, essentially through that old marriage, Alexanderhaven is really only allied with House O'Siadhail, whose only remaining vestige is William II, an infant living in Brittany. Other than that, I know Alexanderhaven was part of the League of Free Nations (LFN), which would loosely tie it to Ireland, but I don't know if you consider Alexanderhaven part of that anymore. If you wanted a reason, though, more than likely Cecile would be in attendance with infant William. Maybe some of Edywinna's relatives would want to see him, which would also allow you to foster new relations with Ireland. Also, I suppose perhaps you would be indirectly allied with Ireland because of Ireland's alliance with the Roman Empire.

Tsar Alexei Paulovich Romanov II along with his wife, the Tsaritsa Atia Alexandervicha Drax Romanova arrived in Ireland for the festivities. Though their children would have liked to come, the Tsar felt it best to leave them back home in Russia. The Tsar himself was hesitant to come as matters of the Empire and beyond were as of yet, completely resolved. However, his minister's assured him that there was no immediate threat and that really it was only a matter of time before those businesses were concluded. So he and his wife flew to Ireland in the hopes of enjoying a beautiful ceremony and the company of their Irish allies.

People from all over Ireland gathered in and around St. Patrick's Cathedral in Armagh for the Imperial wedding, also lining the streets cheering as nobles and foreign dignitaries made their way in, and awaiting later festivities to include a parade. The dignitaries had front row seats, nobles were behind them, and when the catherdral was full of prince and pauper alike, the ceremonies began. First came Emperor Aodh Mór Ó Néill, dressed in fine silk robes and with Ireland's crown atop head. He knelt and kissed the robes and ring of the Archbishop of Armagh, Primate of All Ireland, before being told to rise and await his bride. Countess Bertha von Supplingen entered the cathedral with a myriad of bride's maids and retainers, and all in the catherdral were awed by here beauty that day. The High King had a look that seemed almost of bemusement, his head tilted slightly to one side as she approached.

The entire ceremony thus far had been conducted in Modern Irish, and it was a bit of an awkward moment when the Archbishop asked the bride to speak her vows, and if she wished to wed the High King. Aodh himself quickly translated the Gaelic into German, but nonetheless it gave an unconventional feeling to the wedding. It would have been simpler had the entire ceremony been conducted in English, which most everyone there, including bride and groom, would certainly understand. But Aodh believed it was important to show the world that this was Ireland, his Ireland, no longer subject to the whims of the British Crown.

With exchange of vows, rings, and a kiss, they were sealed in holy matrimony before Almighty God on April 12 in the Year of Our Lord 20XX. Afterwards, there was much dancing, and cake, and wine, and the making of certain relations...

(OOC: Meaning you guys can use this as an opportunity to have discussions between dignitaries and with the High King if you wish.)

Lansdale shook Aodh's hand. "Congratulations, Your Highness. She's a beautiful bride, and I'm certain that she shall help you to make Ireland a fine place. I wish you and your family the best of tidings."

As he continued to mingle with the crowds, he simply nodded in acknowledgement at Siadhal and Aelius, but said nothing. Considering the deceit that had been propagated by the Brotherhood about Alanus's origins, he was still rather distrustful of them.

He then moved through the crowd and struck up conversations with various foreign dignitaries.
