Sergeant Posts: 190 Group: Members Member #687 Joined: July 16, 2011	Following the (relatively) recent inception of the Federation of Semitistan from within the territory that lies between Paradise, Resplendant Dawn and Talibastian, it would like to seek diplomatic relations within the region. But before doing so, it requests the knowledge of policies on: 1. The economy in general 2.Racial discrimination 3.Freedom of speech 4.National security/tackling terrorism

At best it would like to at least open communications with the country of Semitistan and possibly begin a prosperous trade agreement with the Semitistani (OOC: How do you prefer the Demonym?) people. The Empire has a heavily industrialized economy and can certainly provide Semitistan with such things as advanced electronic components, road and rail transportation equipment, communications equipment, agricultural machinery and construction equipment; electric power generating and transmitting equipment; medical and scientific instruments; consumer durables, textiles, and agricultural goods. Racially the Empire is host the several different enthic groups that live, for the most part, harmoniously within the greater Empire. There are no laws that prohibit the freedoms of any persons based on ethnicity within the Russian Empire. Freedom of speech is upheld within the Empire, although some fines can be issued by imperial authorities against individual's who try to use this freedom as a way to subvert the government. If found guilty of multiple infractions of this kind, individuals can spend time in prison. Finally, the Empire prides itself on its own national security systems, especially now as national security has been heighten following the nuclear attack on one of our cities some time ago. Due to our variation of Muslim and Jewish populations with the Christians being a minority, the Federation has a wide variety of textiles both religious and ethnic, most of which are traditional to Arab and Jewish cultures. Semitistan looks forward to working with the Empire, and hopes that it shall grow prosperous with its help.

Therefore, the Federation wishes to open a trade agreement concerning this vital resource and also offers the export of fruits and vegetables which should be efficient due to your relative proximity. Freedom of speech; however, has no place in our society as it is found to frequently breed dissent, disrupt public peace and degrade into eventual terrorism. All national news agencies are closely monitored and regulated by our government. To prevent dissent and to ensure the safety of her citizens, Scythirus employs numerous police officers and military personnel. The economy: Aghaba has a flourishing economy, with the largest GDP per capita in the Middle East. Arms manufacturing, uranium mining, and automobile manufacturing are our major sectors. 2. Racial discrimination: Racial discrimination has not been a mainstream issue in Aghaba since its' conception. While this may not be a major issue, discrimination against religious sects and practitioners of faith is common, with many citizens claiming it is sanctioned by the state. 3. Freedom of speech: Freedom of speech and liberties in Aghaba are somewhat limited, depending on the issue up for discussion. For the most part, citizens are entitled to their right to free speech. 4. National security/tackling terrorism: The Aghaban Intelligence Bureau relentlessly and ruthlessly hunts down perpetrators of terrorist activity within its' own borders, with a zero tolerance policy for any sort of extremism.
