If we all had taken all the money we spent on college educations and instead invested it all in bitcoin when it was first mentioned on this board we wouldn't have to worry about jobs.
I have one bitcoin. I bought it for like 6 bucks. I wish I'd bought 100.
I wish I'd spent the 2 grand (that I actually had) on a high class bitcoin mining rig. I'd probably legitimately be a millionaire right now. It payed for itself when BitCoins were going for $75. I'd imagine there are quite a few exceedingly wealthy people right now. In the pools I was in, there were between 5 and 15 people pulling somewhere between 1 and 3 BitCoins a day. 1 BitCoin is worth a grand now, and they've been mining since the beginning. Hell, at an embarrassingly low mining rate, I could've made 100k in the past year and a half. I suppose it goes to show you that everything is worth exactly what people think it is, whether the item in question is a piece of paper or a tremendously large amount of random numbers. The world is an odd place.

Edit:
Not that I imagine I'd actually enjoy being a millionaire. I feel like someone would though, so as a parable this isn't entirely pointless.

Edit x2:
Apologies for the double post. There is no excuse. Not to worry, my post count is far below most of yours, and I intend for it to stay that way.

I'm still kinda looking for a special lady who makes me happy and vice versa, but she has yet to make herself obvious. She will probably come in time, though.
Aelius, I'll see what I can do to get you a cute, docile girl from the East. >.>

Got accepted to a summer program at Pembroke College, Cambridge. This means that I'll most likely be spending a month in England doing some researching. I'm not exactly excited for the loans I'm going to have to take, but this means a lot for me.
