After all, it's built around war, where NSWR is built on politics in general. I think I might give it a go if they decide to launch it when I have more time. I want Corellia, though and it'll be my first target if I don't start with it. :P

I'm not sure how well that will work, or how capable the moderator will prove himself to be. He is, however, no doubt basing his work on the rulesets that more capable individuals have created for the same general type of game over the years. If it actually gets off the ground I'll be sure to post something about it here.

There are posts that make it seem as though several events have already occurred as early as February, but the signups don't start until around now.

That one fell apart because the moderator left, but it looked like it would've been fun to play. Dark is the new moderator and he's using a ruleset that is at least slightly different than the previous game's. Nothing for this newest game has started yet, so you should have plenty of time to poke around and get used to how things will work. In the meantime, you should reduce your avatar to about 30% of its current size and things should work out fine. I don't even know why you can use an avatar that gigantic, but it's an old forum. I'm Caedous, by the way. That's a relatively new measure. The Frontier has been around forever as have a lot of its members. Most everyone can PM. Edit: I'm Grant. My idea to break with the traditional Jedi versus Sith setting of Star Wars was flaws. It had promise. You can only hit that same horse so many times before it gets stale. But without the Jedi and Sith butting heads, it's not Star Wars. Since no one wanted to take up being the Sith or the Jedi, or Empire or Republic, there could be no immediate headbutting, hence low activity. So, I realize people do want to play. I realize the forum has promise. What I'm going to do is this. I'm going to stop being the Mandalorians, even though I love them, and take up being the Sith. I am extremely familiar with Jedi and Sith throughout the eras, and I have thought over and over in my head what direction I might take the Empire in. With the Sith in play, naturally others will need to form up the Jedi Order to oppose them. Hence we have an RP. I realize I will probably need to make a new setting for the game, and what work has been done may need to be scrapped once again. Maybe, maybe not. We'll figure out something. But I am confident that with myself building a structured and in-depth Sith Empire, and actively pursuing conquest of worlds and expansion of knowledge of the dark side, that I will lay the groundwork for others to come in and make something of themselves on the forum.

Most Star Wars RPs suck balls, and this other one looks no different. Maybe the one we made didn't come far, but at least it has had good structure and good story for the material we have done. And you'll only see more good material come out of it. I'm honestly annoyed you posted that forum here. It's another torpedo the NS Star Wars forum's hull. I don't hold grudges though... no big deal, it's just an internet forum. I just hope this torpedo doesn't sink it.

For all I know, this will crash and burn before it ever gets going and we'll all be over on the other SW RP. The style of the roleplaying on our forum is just that, a style. Presenting another shouldn't be construed as a threat. Options are options.

VERY useful. Also, this one is a hyperlink map. By clicking the name/planet, it will open the planet's Wookiepedia page for you. Some interesting things I thought I'd share.

That said, if the hotdog stand looks good enough, will it attract more customers? In any case, unless you guys really want hotdogs now, I'm going to have to put this off until December when my semester is over. The only problem there is a global hotdog stand is opening in December, though it's a pretty expensive hotdog they're selling. But it's a very tasty hotdog, way tastier than the hotdogs I can hope to make.
