The Republic of Great French Lebanon has officially declared its independence as of yesterday, 17th October 2010. The official procedures and handing over of power from the central Great New French government to the new sovereign Great French Lebanese authorities have been swiftly done. Our Government hopes to have good relations with all parties and wishes to hold a referendum insofar as to be a part of a greater Nation, the Resplendent Dawn. That is why we would like to hold direct talks with the Resplendent Dawn administration on this crucial issue for our people. The modalities of this referendum shall be discussed jointly: in case of a "YES" result, we expect the Resplendent Dawn administration to recognise our autonomy within its Nation but still being an integral part of that Nation. It is a prosperous nation with not many problems indeed and has been able to fare pretty well for the last few years. My priviliged nation would however be The Resplendent Dawn. The Empire will be pleased to enter talks with Lebanon in order to determine the best possible arrangement in which Lebanon can maintain its autonomy while becoming an integral part of the Empire.
