I've never really thought that I had an accent, at least when I'm watching American television. It seems as though the Canadian accent in Toronto is fairly similar to the one in California. My parents met up with a Californian couple in England back in the 80's and the Californians thought that my parents with Californian as well, before they corrected them. :P |

Thank you. :P I've been told by some that I have a "New Yorker" style of speaking; where my words seem to flow right into one another to the point that my sentences sometimes seem like just one long word. Not a single person who's said this to me lives in the eastern half of the US. |
