The internet will become less and less anonymous as time goes on, and it becomes more and more integrated into the daily lives of human beings. By attaching names to it, yes, you are opening yourself up to trolling, but at the same time, forcing users to be responsible for their words. There is now a name attached to a publication, giving words ownership. This alone will do much to curb the more disgusting behavior of human beings online, and the possibility of now being sued for libel, or reported to the police for threats of assault will do much more. This is, in my opinion, a positive development with the goal of complete integration of online and offline worlds, which I see as a question of 'when' not 'if'.

Also, Sed, Blizzard is wonderful.

Blizzard, Valve, and Bioware are the trifecta of Western gaming. Bethesda sold out.

I think I generally agree with Huesca here.

I sent NH the info I found. As to Atticus, I apologize, but your dad's name is incredibly common, especially when searching the biggest state in the union. If I had a middle initial, I might have better luck, but maybe not.

Also, NH would probably be the easiest member here to find because he is well-established, older, and owns his own house.

Well, you got 2 out of 5 facts correct. Not bad, but a .400 batting average is only good in baseball!

However, for the Wisconsin information, there is a "slight" bit of truth - very slight, however. The Ann Arbor info is just plain wrong. 209 E. Washington is an office building in the AA downtown.

Hah! I always told people that Blizzard does listen to their customers once in a while. Just not every individual, though most people seem to think that Blizzard should listen to what they say and not to what anyone else says because their $15 a month is somehow more valuable than the other guy's.

This is good; a wise move on Blizzard's part. There are far to many children that play WoW for this to be a beneficial system. What works will adults may not for children and kids have proven time and time again that they cannot understand the consequences of online activities and how they'll translate to real-life.

I haven't played in a year, but it still gnaws at me almost every day.

Arkiel - Alliance - Antonidas
Caedous - Alliance - Drak'Thul

EDIT: I don't know where else to post this and since it's video game related, why not here?

Short article, somewhat humorous.

How long was Battle.net around? 2 years ago Blizzard told all WoW players that a Battle.net account was interchangeable with a WoW account. Last year, they said everyone had to convert their WoW account to a Battle.net account. That's what I was referring to. I didn't know it existed before that.

You have much to learn, grasshoppa. Battle.net has been around since the original Diablo - 1997 IIRC.
