Flumes: people here in Michigan drive either to Ohio or Indiana to buy fireworks. I think they just can't sell to in-state residents. Atticus: another reason to leave California. Any town that doesn't do a 4th of July fireworks display doesn't deserve to have a town government! Telo: my favorite fireworks instruction: "Lay on ground. Light fuse. Run away." Now, how the hell am I supposed to run away if I am laying on the ground?? |

Lay the firework on the ground. :P My friend and I tried a few new things with our fireworks. We tried using ammonium nitrate for the first time. It wasn't too flashy, not much of a fire resulted from it. The calcium carbide was better, but the ammonium nitrate caused more damage. Oh, and we finally figured out how to make blasting caps the right way! Before we were always using a slow burning wick or soaked rag at the end of a stick while cowering behind a corner or wooden barricade. Seriously, they need to make fireworks legal. Otherwise the state is just prompting rebellious youth to learn a rather dangerous craft through less conventional and unsafe means. |

I celebrated the Fourth the good American way - Moonshine, blunts, and $1210 worth of artillery shells with friends. Glad to see others had fun too! B) Also, Flumes, fireworks in PA are legal from the 11:59 on the third to 12:01 on the fifth. Edited by Union, Jul 6 2010, 11:20 AM.
