OOC: Immediately following the Irish Civil War. I have permission from Att and NRE as well.

IC:

Relations between the Welsh-Scots and the British Kingdom had always been rocky, to say the least. In recent history, spats, fiascoes, wars, and chaos had been common place with regards to Welsh-British relations. In fact, none of the powers in the isles- save for the English republic and Ireland- got along with eachother at all. Turbulence, violence, and death all characterized the foreign perspective of Britain. With the recent civil war in Ireland being the most atrocious conflict to date, Liverpool decided that it was time to appeal for peace.

A new era was dawning. A great change was coming. Wotton had proposed a union with the southern republic earlier in the war. The Republic was debating and considering it still. Similar proposals had already been sent out to Cardiff. With that in mind, guests from the Unionite neighbors were expected to arrive soon in Liverpool. Wotton's goal for the negotiations? A complete union between Wales, Scotland, and Northern England.

OOC: As mass PMs are not permitted...

Would it be possible, reflecting Union participation in the war, for the Union to gain and operate a naval facility in Swansea indefinitely upon conclusion of the war? it would be relatively small, as bases go, and unimportant in the grand scheme of things, but I would like a second base from which to better control the Bay of Biscay.
