I dunno about everyone else but I'm a self-proclaimed music junkie/whore/fanatic/etc. etc. I love music and I know that stereotypical of everyone but usually most people limit themselves to certain tastes and genres. I mean if you like rock you may not like rap and if you like rap, you hardly ever like country....and the average Joe on the street hardly ever talks about Gregorian chants. For me on the other hand, I like it all....I mean ALL. I will listen to anything and I do mean anything and I can't get enough of it. That being said, perhaps my biggest pet peeve is when I can't find a song's proper title, artist, etc. I grow especially irritated when I can't find a cover of it on Youtube, as that means I'll actually have to pay for it to listen to it, if it can be found! I'm ranting about all this because A) I wanted to know if others have these similar problems (music, books, tv, etc. etc.) and perhaps spark a spirited discussion to help solve these little mysteries and B) because I recently have taken a liking to this: Now I know its a cover to the 1969 David Bowie song, Space Oddity and that this version is done by a band known as Cat Power but I can't seem to find a full version on youtube which had irritated me to no end. I guess I'm going to have to finally breakdown, find it and download load it on my ipod. Its like doing a 2 billion piece jigsaw puzzle and being one piece short of completion. :furious: |

Oh! Yes, this a nifty indie band. However, the girl who does all the stuff for it didn't want to release the song to Youtube and whatnot for whatever reason, so it's technically unfindable for the moment. I go through these issues too. I'm a music junky who moves through a pretty general amount of genres. Today was a fixation on Juno Reactor's Navras: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9qqLrdOzDg and the Warsaw Philharmonic's Lapis Philosophorum: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtX1vKM0q_Y Techno and opera seem to be my main pursuits |

My taste vary greatly, but I don't listen to music much. But I really love all of Hans Zimmer's work (He does awesome soundtracks) |
