Roman Spain was Muslim occupied prior Isaac Xanthou's campaigns. But that doesn't change much. Looks great in any case :)

Do you mean in real life years? I'm honestly not really sure how to do the backdating, because I haven't really payed much attention to how things sync historically. I can try to find the topics for you though, if you like.

Interesting. Is that difficult to make?

RD: Roughly or so. I know there was a huge Islamic player just before I got here (Morocco or Moor something) in Spain, but with al-Andalus later showing up in Portugal I just kind of merge the two, historically speaking, or perhaps put them back in around 1200-1400. At that time, wasn't Europe in the past anyway?

Telo: The animation itself took about five minutes to make. It's just a gif.

That is TC's thread on the subject. IIRC, he had previously had a Muslim terrorist group in Andalusia (and also involved in Palestine, though I don't recall the precise order of events). Isaac Xanthou flushed them out, and that's how the Romans came to Spain. If it helps in dating, Isaac Xanthou was the paternal grandfather of the current Roman Emperor. I guess that was the last remnant of the Moors in Spain, but the Christians came from around through the other side, from North Africa, where Xanthou had taken over much of the coastline.

Really? I'd've thought it'd take longer. Of course, I have no idea how to do it, so I have no point of comparison.

I wish it would go a bit slower, it's difficult to track what's what. Overall though, good animation.

Looks awesome to me, I'd have left out the dates but it doesn't really hurt anything as time is fluid. That being said, the Union did leave out some nations when it comes to the history of Iberia, namely Xeres and Catalonia and Moraccon (both of which I believe did a good number of things for European history and thus would be worthy of mentioning.). Moraccon's borders can be seen here, I can't remember X&C's original borders.

I do not recognize Morracan outside of Portugal/before Roman Empire arrived, and Xerxes and Catelonia started their history post-Franco, so I put them in as Falangism was dying in the 1960s around Toledo.

Simply things to make my history continuous, which is based with Aragon and Castille existing until they became Hispania and Andorra.
