Path to Insanity

Well, I'm already bored of the RP thing, and I'm running out of ideas for something fun, that goes along the lines of a normal country.

So, I've decided to twist everything.

I want my leader to start showing signs of insanity, whether it be multiple personalities, schizophrenia, or another mental disorder. I want really just want to cross the path into the ultimate form of evil, with him as the front, leading an oppressed nation, with a severe mental disorder that really just makes him batshit cray.

But, if I want it to be interesting, I would need another country to participate. Only if you want to. And if you do, your country would have to be willing to take some abuse and extremely unethical/demented actions from my leader.

Anyone interested?

I think the TO would kill him before he caused to much damage to the Faith.

Well, his mental insanity would cause him to stray from the Faith, creating his own pagan demonic religion instead.

You're not exactly making the role enticing...

How about a dual-personality thing? One is super-militaristic and is bent on blowing shit up for the sake of watching stuff burn and the other is a pious, super righteous, I'm-sorry-lets-make-the-world-better-and-plant-trees type of person?

And how would your leading get this condition? A "Path to Insanity" thread might be pretty cool. Maybe contact TC or whoever it is that created/RPs Dr Camizu. I'm sure there'd be a rather good story behind it if you got him involved...

Yes, that is an option, that's why I said multiple personalities disorder would be a good disorder to work with.

Go watch the movie Sibel, and you'll see where I'm going with this.

I think the leader would get this just from stress of being the leader of a country, and the fact that Wales will most likely go through serious problems.

You can say that again. While the idea of a wild, essentially insane leader is interesting, I for one am not willing to "take some abuse" just to satisfy the RP and gain nothing.

RD created Dr. Camizu, the original and the currently still alive son. TC was RPing him and I assume may still if you needed him.

You know the male line of the Conn family has suffered from a interesting form of schizophrenia for generations. Basically each son's, hallucinates and has active conversations with their father who constantly belittles them and what not. Its always been good fun.....

You know a hallmark of the Genesian faith has been that the church allows for the punishment of heretics through burning them at the stake. Your leader could go crazy and see heretics all around him, burning millions at the stake if he so chooses. The Commonwealth for one would look the other way, possibly even the Pope should the leader be able to prove the heretics and such.

I wrote those last few posts in a rush, as I was late for swim.

I haven't worked out the details yet at all, this is just a idea.

If it does happen, it would happen in somewhat of a downward spiral. It could possibly that the nation participating antagonizes and puts extreme pressure on him, and he just snaps.

Of course there will be a reward or something at the end. I'm was just trying to say if it does happen, it isn't going to be a catwalk. It take some sacrafice, but I'm sure I can work something out, like better relations, reparations, the good feeling you get when you save a population from a near holocaust.

Maybe even that, it could turn into a giant holocaust, where he purges the land of non-natives and english. I'm not sure, this is simply in a developmental stage. If you want to make a suggestion, whether to the outcome of the RP or the course of it, please, by all means do.

True, but I have more devious plans.

Have you guys ever heard of something called the Wicker Man?
