Prime Minister Lansdale and Foreign Minister Nielsen were both a little uneasy with the current situations surrounding them. They knew the British would use any excuse necessary to wipe their nation out of existence. They also had some uncertainties about the Celtic Kingdoms of Wales and Scotland, who renounced their recognition of the Republic. And there was always the ever-present belligerence of the Teutonic Order. The Republic needed to make sure they had strong allies to assist them in the event of an attack. They hoped that they had Ireland and Venice to help by virtue of the LFN, but they needed to make more friends around the globe. Official Statement from the English Republic Foreign Ministry We are interested in establishing embassies and greater trade agreements with all nations friendly to the interests of the Republic. I will be happy to come personally to any nation that wishes to provide me with an audience. -Patrick Nielsen, English Foreign Minister |

OOC:
The Order has been somewhat provocative. Considering its slaughter of the Latvian people, the Republic is less than friendly with the Order. :P IC: The English Republic has particular interest in establishing embassies in Porcu, Venice and the Roman Empire. |

The Roman Empire would happily exchange embassies and meet with English representatives whenever the English desire. |

Nielsen will fly to Stockholm after his visit with the Metzian people is concluded, and will head for Constantinople after the Porcuian meeting. Your nations are welcome to send ambassadors at your discretion. |
