I know I haven't really participated with Srolonka yet (one of the new Hispanic countries) but that'll change once I'm on the map.

EDIT

Could someone do me a huge favor and tell me if my general rendering of my borders, in relation to the real life Spanish province borders is more or less accurate? It's a rough rendering, but it'll help me a lot with how Srolonka's makeup will look.

And for reference, Srolonka's 39 on the NSWR map, in case it's not evident by my MSPaint skillz :P

Also, NRE, the nation name is now Huesca, and the capital is Huesca. The capital should be just left of where the bottom half of the 8 is. Right on that little indentation.

I know I don't get Huesca, just trying to see if I did the Zaragaza border correctly

You get all the way north to the border of Navarre.

Okay, sweet deal. I'll start establishing things then.

Again, sorry I've been behind on this. Running my college's Model UN club is a little similar to NSWR, just with more real life angst

NRE, noticing that suddenly two new nations are within Eire...

I would like to request, with the approval of these other two nations of course, that our three nations be organized by province.

I would be Ulster, and the two of them could be Leinster and Munster, and Connacht could be our point of conflict when we expand. Or if one wishes to be Connacht, one of the other regions could be the point of conflict.

Of course, no matter what, this means war, if the new nations are willing of course.

Try waiting awhile first. Noob nations as you well know tend to falter more than stay.

True, but this does give me a needed war.

We'll see. Waiting is all I can do right about now.

Something that I just have to say:

Seriously, somebody needs to be the Dutch. Maybe not now, but sooner or later. The Dutch are simply too awesome to not exist. Look at the Royal Dutch Marines.

The Dutch technically exist. Cept they be located in the Baltics rather than in the low countries.

Yeah but look at Aruba, the Dutch have had their far share of mistakes and mishaps too.

The Maps been updated and dead nations have been marked. I give every dead nation a month grace period from the date of their death. PLease if you wish to stay on the map, revive your nation otherwise PM and tell me that I can take your nation off the map.

ED said in this thread that he was no longer going to play Murmanskaya, and wished to transfer all of its assets to me. I believe I sent you a PM regarding this, however you seem to have not gotten it. If possible, I'd like to incorporate Murmanskaya's territory into the Empire until (if) ED returns.

I haven't updated the map but I have gone through the map key and highlight dead nations. If one of them is your nation you have a month from today to restore it. If it's not restored on the date I got to update the map then they will be deleted.

NRE,

Telosan tells me that Denonz and Dezmonz are not interested in continuing on here, and that kind of kills my whole "Irish Civil War". Their nations have ceased to exist, but Telosan has told me he would be willing to RP their nations for this war.

I don't know what the rules on this are. Someone would be RPing for dead nations which will obviously not be there at the war's conclusion. We would put up a quality RP for the war, but it would be kind of a land grab by myself, which I don't know if that would be "legal". Your call NRE, since you would be the one changing the map.

Made a few updates to the map. Cleaned off some old nations and what not. Also if you'll notice I've made a few capitals in the first couple of nations on the map key clickable. They link to the player made national description page. People in the passed have suggested that there be a way to tell who is who when it comes to the map and I think this is a workable solution. In the near future I'll complete the list on the European map but what do you think of the idea so far?

Sounds like a good idea; seems convenient to me.

Could you add something for me. Underneath this:

14.Basileia tôn Romaiôn- Alexandria
-- Sicily and Sardinia-Syracuse

Could you add a line saying:
-- Spain-Córdoba

Presumably since the Sicily line links to my mirror-nation, the Spain line would not need another link, but I would be especially pleased if you would designate them separately like that. If that is inappropriate, perhaps you could modify the current entry to indicate that it is not just Sicily and Sardinia, but also the province of Spain, that are depicted on the map.

I've modified as you requested but for uniformity sake I just gave Spain the same link as Sicily and Sardinia.

Is there any chance I could resurrect Cerdone? I neglected it for too long last time, I know, but I wanted to give it another shot.

Cerdone
