According to the world maps I think it's open.

Its not on the world map.

Exactly!

And thus its not that reliable. GNF once invaded Reunion off the coast of Madagascar ... It too is not on the world map ... It belonged to Ammochostos and almost triggered war.

A word of advice HCI; Not everything here is as it seems. Never presume it to be if you do not have proof.

Quaon: Can you do a slight re-labelling of the map for me? Instead of the two earchates, the Gallian and African Exarchates, on the map, there should be four exarchates as follows:

The old Gallian Exarchate should be divided into two:
- The French land remains "Exarchate of Gaul" or "Gaulish Exarchate." (Note the switch from Latin to English forms)
- Corsica, Sardinia, and Sicily should be labelled the "Exarchate of the Isles" or "Insular Exarchate."

Similarly, the old African Exarchate falls into two parts:
- The Maghrebi land retains the forms "Exarchate of Africa" or "African Exarchate."
- Andalusia becomes "Exarchate of Spain" or "Spanish Exarchate."

Or if you prefer, you can label the whole thing "Romania" or "Roman Exarchates."

Updated. Changed the colors, text size, etc. All colonies either have "Imperial" or "Empire" in their title, and the mother nation's location and capital are noted. Saxe-Coburg is being held in memorium for a bit, but it's size has been drastically reduced. Ballistor, I forget what area you requested over MSN, so please tell me again. I know I've been giving very small bits of land, so I'm going to be a bit lax on expansions.

Thank you, Quaon, for updating the Exarchates; it looks lovely.

I'd contest that it looks lovely, but thank you anyway.

Might want to fix the link on that last country, though.

I'm on the map! :D I got a more land than I thought I would get. But I'm not complaining. Would it be possible when Osilia grows in the future (distant future) for it to grow along the Baltic coastline since it is a nation dependant on the sea?

I will take any little chunk of land on the continent (preferably with a bit of coastline) for the Kingdom of Ballistor. My people are French/German, so if you can squeeze me in somewhere between 'France' and 'Germany', that would make me very happy.

Coshvy, I think I gave you too little land. I'll extend it next update to the edges of the Russian Empire. Also, Ballistor, can I give you some German land?

I would be pleased to take a little piece of Germany. My nation is predominantly German, with a small french population.

Next Update: Ballistor in North Germany, and I'm adding some land to nations which I meant to give more.

That's a lot of coastline...

I'm not giving Ballistor all of that, just some.

Anyway, like I said before, I'm adding land to Ossilia because I gave them too little. Also, for the most part, I'm going to be friendly towards expansions with little opposition because of the little land I've been giving.

I 'm cool with the amount of land your getting, but the fact that it's a long narrow strip looks sloppy, and you would have to spend WAY more money on border security for a long strip then a wide blob.

maybe something like this

but your the mapmaker, it's your call.

I think he wants a port.

Q, I'm cool with it, but you're getting an awful lot of coastline. Maybe make the coast slimmer and the interior thicker?

Yeah, maybe I'll cut in half the coast.

It doesn't seem like a lot of land up there, and again, I'm fine with it, but for simple comparison purposes, here's what your expanding, but further south. ;)

Just keep this in mind: Would you give someone else an expansion of that size? :P

EDIT: That was using your original expansion request.

Yes, if they as big as I was. I've only had one expansion I believe since I've been here (for Quaon). I'm approaching four billion. If you were were to ask for that much land to connect the thing you were talking about in PM to your motherland, I would consider it.

Edit: I'll do this expansion after I get back.

Also, I'm gonna update one last time before I go, and Cimina and Syberea are gonna go.

Hmmm ^_^

Anyway, yeah, as I said orginally, I'm fine with the original expansion.
