OOC- I was under the impression those were raids rather than territory-holding attacks...assume the territory is still under contest then...a veritable no-mans land... IC- "Anything else?" |

President Montgomery rose from his seat. "Gentlemen and honored representatives we are allowing this conference to stagnate. At the very least we have constructed here a plan of attack for getting us into the Pacific theater. While I am partial to the plan I proposed for getting us to Zaphat, there is certainly still room for debate and while I would advocate that we should go into this campaign with a firm strategy, we cannot afford to doddle in this affair. While incredible strong, the free world has proven to be able to hold its own against the Dominion threat and though we have suffered greatly for our defiance, we have reaped great benefits four our countries and our people. Prince Karschburg has made an interesting point that the Dominion uses propaganda to their advantage and thus so must we. We must find ways of getting the information out of our successes and our march towards Zapht. We must renew in these people a spirit of self and of freedom. In doing so we may add to ourselves a tactical advantage in weakening the Dominion slave machine. At the very least, it could possibly slow the production rate the Dominion operates at and, should we choose a strategy like the one I laid out, and isle hop until we reach Zapht we may find that these people would be willing to openly rebel against their captures once receiving word of our arrival to each new island." |

"As long as we are prepared to deal with locals who truely have no love for anyone outside the Dominion, or perhaps those who would be against both us AND Zapht, I see no problem with this, though which islands to hop to will only be clear once we take Hawaii and see the Dominion Navy's reaction." OOC- Come on people. I want all bases covered here before we do the RP. If this is all we plan, then this is all we do. We'll have to do this again once Hawaii is taken. |

"If I can get word to my countrymen, many will likely volunteer to aid the cause if they knew it would help Telosan. As part of the Dominion, they could travel more freely than the rest of us can. It is likely that a resistance group already exists. By suplying them and giving them a goal, I am sure they could travel as far as the Asian mainland for our cause. They can pose as refugees, fleeing the front as it follows them. Assuming we make it to the Asian mainland, the security will be too tight for them to get through. We could also send operatives over less defended borders to be at or around Panama when we detonate it. With no feasible way to rebuild the canal in a reasonable amount of time, especially with the war on their heads, the Dominion will be hesitant to waste men and materials on a valuless target. The operatives can just follow the retreating forces, gaining acess to places refugees can't." OOC: So far, we've just talked of America and the Pacific. Is the Asian theater going to start from the wrap up of the American one? |

OOC- The American campaign is never going to truely wrap up. The Dominion's holdings, with a few exceptions, will remain as is until Zapht's defeat when the whole Dominion collapses. The whole point of starting the Asian campaign (via the Pacific) before the Americas are out is to keep Gassel distracted. IC- "We will take care of that," came Sourdough's voice from the speakerphone, "We have been coordinating with all resistance factions throughout Asia. We also have the idea for the first islands to take...Vanuatu. We have a large cache of weapons collected here over the years, including some....big ticket items. Land up there and give us the right logistics, and you get yourself a fully operational naval base." |

OOC: TAs is loyal to the Dominion. Same with TAf. TAm and TEu are not. It's parts of what leads up to the civil war. Here, I was referring to the people of TAm under Dominion occupation. |

OOC- Ahh, my bad. Assume I'm just talking about Vanuatu then. IC- "We will be able to assist as soon as your people can give us the necessary layouts of Dominion installations in the occupied territory. It should help in our endeavors." |
