define...shoe...I mean are we considering boots to be shoes and if so we can't exclude the sandals for fear of hurting their feelings. Then there are tennis shoes and their cousins the running shoes, ballet shoes, and tap shoes. Oh and heaven forbid we forget the clogs from overseas, no need in starting WWIII. |

I have a pair of Workboots, and use those for traversing the everyday. Definitely not fashionable by Californian standards, but they grip like a titan and are more than comfortable. |

I have sandals, slippers, flip flops, Chuck Taylors - all shoes with flat soles. I no longer wear shoes that have raised heels because that is allegedly bad for the health of one's knees. |

I have the same shoes I've worn for 3-4 years and they're now so torn up and shredded that I don't consider them shoes anymore. I refuse to get new ones because I like these too much. The soles are in tatters and I can turn them inside out and back easily. The holes for the shoelaces are long gone and I've improvised and am using a combination of the worn out original shoelace, thread, and paper clips. Last sentence isn't true. I voted no. And before you say anything, no I'm not getting new shoes. |

Right now, I am wearing very comfortable shoes. In my closet....there are mostly comfortable shoes. A couple uncomfortable ones for special occasions. My favorite are my boots. :D |
