(if you don't know what it is, want it, and have Portal installed, then go do a google search) Alright, so Portal Prelude is this little third party free prequel to that massively fun game, Portal. It's immensely difficult, and not that fun, but worth playing all the same. In fact, I have a slight relationship with it. It's so satisfying when you accomplish something in it that you just feel better about yourself. Has anyone here played it? Anyone beaten it? Anyone rage quit after the first time you go through and those turrets were just there, waiting? |

Have Portal on the 360. Guessing this counts me out. |

Yeah, it would. My question to you though is "why would you do that to yourself?" |

Orange Box. £15. I liked it. Portals controls really scream "console game" as well. It would... irk me (to say the least) to use a mouse to play that. |

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the lurkiest of them all?

Portal is one of the games I do prefer on console. Way more challenging with a c-stick. |

PC ALL THE WAY! BLAUGM! I can't stand controllers anymore. That's an exaggeration (I still pick up Halo series games with ease), but the precision of the mouse just simply can't be beaten. Then again, I have become a hardcore PC gamer over the last few years. Used to be into consoles. |

I'm on Sed's boat. Also XBL bugs me. Like a lot of people, I got the 360 before knowing that XBL would charge you to do anything, including change your background. I've tried Portal for the 360. It was playable, sure, but I just felt like it was a better experience on my PC ...that and the whole thing with PC gaming being 2 feet from your face versus console gaming being farther away. I prefer rotting my eyes in HD. |

My PC and my Xbox are both hooked up to the same monitor, which I sit directly in front of. That gripe is not a problem with the console, it's a problem with your TV/monitor setup. |

I also opt for this. Still prefer my PC for gaming though. Edited by Ulgania, Oct 27 2009, 10:27 PM.
