Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the lurkiest of them all?

So, Borderlands. Anyone else planning on getting it, either for PC or console? I've preordered through Steam, which I would highly recommend to anyone else that's going to get it on PC. |

A few former friends of mine got it leaked, and they love it. I'll probably get it for PC when I can. It looks freaking awesome |

As I said, I encourage you to get it through Steam. Not only is digital distribution way better than conventional, the community makes grouping for a co-op game way easier. |

My college throttles the hell out of steam, and most online games  That doesn't really stop me though. |

Oh, I heard it leaked on to PC today. I'm kinda questioning why people care so much though. There's a decent interview of the creator online about how the game was intended for PC/developed for PC. I find it funny it leaked for the 360 first |

Meh, I already paid for it. Worth having through Steam anyway for community support. |

Amusingly, in the interview I read the guy was talking about Steam not being all that great for consumers. As useful as it is, I agree that it should be a separate entity from Valve EDIT: And yeah, I do intend to buy it... when I have money in my checking account that isn't there for food. The two will separate once Steam gets up enough... steam... to become it's own entity. Two years, tops, I'll bet. |

My retarded computer probably couldn't handle even if I wanted it, but it does look good. |

Wow. The game is every bit as good as people have said. Take Diablo II RPG elements, with Call of Duty FPS elements (The controls are actually identical), and a setting almost as good as Fallout's, and mash them all together. Sounds terrible, but it fucking works, and brilliantly. |

The students at work have been raving about it. I'll pick it up but it's a long way down my list. |

It is very good. My friend got it for the 360 and we started playing through it together last night. Co-op play is good, if a little unwieldy on some occasions. The system is overall pretty smooth and very well done. It should be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to playing it despite a pile of reading I should be doing for class. |
