The thugs in blue took my roommate, friend, and comrade yesterday. We don't know when he will be let out, but here is a video of what went down.

You all ought to consider yourself proud to know him.

Did he have pot on him? What are the drug laws in New Hampshire?

Reading the title of the thread I thought the matter at hand would be more serious. I'm not saying that this isn't a serious matter but I would have used a different choice of words.

I would have used exclamation points and smiley faces.

Who cares? Its against Federal law anyways.
Lol, no way he's going to be tried in federal court.

Your own state just suspended sentences for 30,000 drug offenders and freed them. So state circumstances are important to consider.

"Marijuana cures cancer"? 'Fraid you are sadly mistaken, kid. It's prescribed to cancer patients for a number of reasons, but certainly not as a cure.

My point still stands. He wasn't harming anyone. There was no legitimate reason to arrest him. You can't simply go around arresting people you don't like.

Also, I don't think the DEA and FBI generally concern themselves with user quantities of pot.

Last time I checked smoking pot was illegal.
Ordinance number 223, of 09/09/19 prohibits the installation and usage of slot machines in outhouses in Bexley, Ohio. Just because the government has made something illegal doesn't mean it makes sense.

He did have pot (he was openly smoking), and for possession he's looking at a 420 dollar fine (yes, seriously).

I can't think of anything less serious than being put in a cage by other human beings.

That said, since he's been arrested already by state authorities for a crime that is both state and federal, I believe that agents of the state are within their rights speak with their federal counterparts and make this a federal case. I'm not positive, but I'm relatively sure that's the way things go.

Yeah, but every time before he "Claimed" he was smoking pot, the cops showed up, took him back, and found out that it was not pot, so they couldn't do anything. Plus the Police said many times in past videos that no one was smoking pot. Sounds like a bunch of wussies to me, who just drop everything when the cops show up..
You're the toughest punk kid on the internet, aren't you.

If Evan was smoking a joint in front of you, and you had the option to shackle him and imprison him, would you?

He did something illegal. He did it openly. He flaunted and bragged about his illegal acts. He got arrested.

Why is this a surprise? Should it be illegal? Maybe not, but that doesn't put the men charged with enforcing the law in the wrong.

Hell, if I lived in Keene, I'd be sick to hell of the lot of them [the vagrants that have invaded the city, not the police].

No, that's not how things go. The Feds would only be involved if they thought Evan was a cartel member, or some such. He's going to get slapped with a misdemeanor A.

So do you think the Nazi's found guilty are Nuremburg should have been let off?

Most of us own our own businesses or are gainfully employed. There is nothing "vagrant" about us.

As one who doesn't do drugs, I actually support it's legalization.

However, most of the people in this video bother me. "You're a horrible person because you're upholding the law."

You don't change laws by badmouthing those who uphold the law. It's dumb, but it's counterproductive.

Awesome.

Yeah, you're all free-thinking badasses, smoking around kids and shit, eh? Not even your own protest, you went to a public event hosted by the city and decided thats the perfect time for your little dance.

Fuckers need a little jail time.

And the state shouldn't interfere with the right of pedophiles to love who they please, eh? Or deny the mugger the right to stab who they want?

We can do extremes, if you want.

Let's just cut to the end: without power, you can't do shit. And son, you ain't holding the baton.

Since I've fallen away from this board, I'll just say it flat out---

I think you should be shot. Honest to god. I think when the insurrection eventually comes, you should most definitely be dragged out of your house in the middle of the night, given a mock trial in front of your neighbors, and a bullet put right between your eyes-- and ironically enough, this brutal justice is nothing compared to the billions of lives destroyed by this institution you're defending. Each and everyone of you motherfuckers who think that this is a good thing, that he "got what he deserved", that thinks there is absolutely nothing wrong with caging other human beings isn't worth letting live. You're a fucking liability to everyone trying to live a peaceful life. Who knows when you might take it upon yourself to actually do what the police do.

Ban me, I don't give a shit. That you could all be so fucking heartless when a human being --a friend-- has been caged over something as fucking insignificant as a plant convinces me that you're not even human at all. You're weak, spineless little shits who are willing to pay for a few more comforts if it means sacrificing everyone else's freedom.

Friend, acquaintance, fellow human being.... it doesn't matter the relation, you still can't apologize for something so fucking brutal and inhumane.
