It was late in the night and everyone was sleeping. TC was carefully investigating the kitchen, trying to find clues that would lead to the identities of the Nazi spies. While he was examining under the kitchen table, he was attacked and savagely killed with a shovel.

Meanwhile, at the opposite side of the mansion in a small room, Abnar was sleeping heavily, thanks to the tranquilizer he took before going to bed. Suddenly, his door opened and some individuals entered his room. They encircled Abnar, took his pillow and began suffocating him with it. Few minutes later, Abnar died.

Day 3

When the guests woke up, they saw two more people had been killed during the night.

TC was the Police investigator.

Abnar was the Doctor.

Day 3 will last until Sunday 9:00 PM EST, or whenever a majority of votes is attained.

Votes needed for instantaneous lynch: 6

Damn.

We just lost the cop and the doctor in the same round. Okay, there's an independant with a shovel.

According to the description, TC was investigating and got killed. Maybe the independant has a passive ability to give whoever investigates him and TC was unlucky?

It appears the Soviets got Abnar. That was bad. If just Abnar died, I'd've said TC was behind it since he was trying to throw suspicion on him, and vice versa if TC died. Now I'm at a loss.

I'm at a loss. Who the hell do we vote for?

Nag?

TC! WHO DID YOU SEE?!

Rationalising.

****

Vigilante is a known role. So it could be that the vig took out TC. The shovel reference is a strong indication that it was a vig (seeing as it linked back to my game where everyone was a vig).

However, why any player would suspect TC after RD turned up innocent is beyond me. So there could be an independent. Four factions seems... excessive though.

I'm puzzled by the link to the link to the video of someone being hit with a shovel in Blazing Saddles. What exactly is the significance? Is there any besides the fact murder by shovels appear in the video clip and the previous mafia game that were linked to?

Edit:
Could you clarify your reasoning, Nag. I don't get it. Oh. Nevermind. I thought there was some link there, but 'rationalising' was the entire explanation.

I was unaware that was a link. I thought it was colored text or I never would've thought of independants.

That's an idea for a role in the future. A one-time talk to the dead ability. Give the GM your question, he asks the dead player, and tells the deathtalker what s/he said word for word.

I'm throwing my post limit out the window. Next game maybe.

Why the silence? Speak people or we'll have no way of finding spies. You're all dooming us!

I plan on voting either T.O. or Huesca tomorrow.

I know I am good, I know Nag is good. Honestly, looking at the numbers, mostly everyone is probably bad... Key for townies (invincible or not) like me is keeping the balance, since we got screwed already.

What do you mean "keeping the balance"? That seems like a pretty lame cop out to me. Sure we're down some townies, but there's no reason not to be in it to win it.

I'm not a big fan of bandwagoning, so I'm gonna look over the list and past posts again before I register my vote. It looks like a formality at this point, so I won't agonize for too long.

No, we need to balance each side of spies... We can't have one side too high while the other is low.... We won't have a chance at the end if one side of spies remain largely intact as they could probably outvote the town. "Keeping the balance" simple means trying (although it will be hard) to lynch one side of the mafia one day, and the other side another.

So now I'm gathering votes because I'm attempting to keep people talking?

I am the good guy. If I was a spy, wouldn't letting the silence resume be to my advantage? Then I wouldn't have a chance of people suspecting me because no one was talking! We have to talk to find the spies!

I was the first to start speaking. I don't see any of you jumping up to say anything.

So vote me now? I honestly don't see why we're attacking the one who's trying to keep the game rolling.

Oh my God...

Here I go, away for a couple of days, and this happens. Damn.

Everyone's voting for Telosan, but he hasn't shown anything really bad. Seems like a lot of people are bandwaggoning, too.

I'm gonna go with my gut.

Vote: Quaon

He continues to be very quiet.

End of Day 3

Final vote count

Telosan: 4 (Huesca, Flumes, T.O., Nag)
Quaon: 1 (Allesandra)

With 4 votes, Telosan is lynched. Telosan was a Soviet spy.

It is now Night 3 (odd night). Players with night roles should PM me as soon as possible to give their instructions.

Night 3 will last until Monday 9:00 PM EST.

Day 4

When the guests woke up, they found the dead body of T.O. in his room. His throat was apparently cut with a sharp knife while he was sleeping.

T.O. was a Townie.

However, that was not the biggest surprise of the day. When the guests gathered downstairs in the living room, they found Rhadamanthus sitting there and smoking a cigarette. He wasn't dead.

When asked how this was possible, he just responded: "Oh, I guess I was not really dead when you threw me out of the mansion."

The player Rhadamantus is now back in the game.

Day 4 will last until Wednesday 6:00 PM EST, or whenever a majority of votes is attained.

Votes needed for instantaneous lynch: 5

...How did that happen? Is there some role that I'm missing out on?

Well, Allesandra, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I wanted to roleclaim before I was killed. Nag, in his prior post that day, said that then was the time to roleclaim, but I did not get the chance to log in then before he killed me. Anyway, I can explain it now.

I am a Polish Counter-Intelligence Officer.

That means a few things. First, when investigated, I appear as a Spy, but it does not specify what kind of Spy. When lynched, I appear as a Townie.

The main aspect to my role is that when I die, the Polish government fakes my death. This allows me to miss one day and return. There is a trick to killing me for good, but I don't want to give it away for obvious reasons. While dead, I can still use my night abilities.

I have two night abilities. One is a one-shot kill. The other is a regular investigative power. I have so far uncovered only townies, with one exception. Huesca is a spy. Lynch him to verify my role-claim. If false, feel free to kill me.

Vote: Huesca
