A No-One vote is not a vote to end the day. The day will only end if any person accrues 8 votes against himself.
This is not true, at least not in any game I've played before. If a majority of players formally votes for "no one" or "no lynch," the day ends immediately.
Sorry, typo.

I meant to write: "The day will only end if No-One accrues 8 votes."

What are the chances of a majority of players voting No-one on the first day? Nil. Your fears of the day ending early are irrational.
They're only irrational because there's someone trying to dissuade the no-voters from their tactic. (Me)
This is objectively false. We never have had "no votes" end the day in any game that we have played, whether you were involved or not. There are always players who don't like it, and always players who will vote for somebody, and always people who will hold their decision in reserve. No "no vote" has been remove because of your statement, and there isn't any evidence that anyone has changed their mind on the subject because of what you said here. Just like all your other arguments in favor of your jihad, this one holds no water.

End of Day 1

Final vote count

Atticus: 4 (Allesandra, Huesca, Abnar, Flumes)
No lynch: 2 (Al Araam, TC)
Abnar: 2 (RD, Atticus)
TC: 1 (Quaon)
Nag: 1 (NH)
Al Araam: 1 (Esternarx)
NH: 1 (Nag)

With 4 votes, Atticus is lynched. Atticus was the Polish spy (Miller-equivalent).

It is now Night 1 (odd night). Players with night roles should PM me as soon as possible to give their instructions.

Night 1 will last until Monday 6:00 PM EST.

Day 2

The guests woke up and found the dead, tortured body of New Harumf on the kitchen table. He had an onion in the mouth and several lacerations on his body. He was apparently finished off with a bullet through the head. A pierced pillow was found near the body, suggesting the murderers did not want to make too much noise.

New Harumf was a Soviet spy.

Day 2 will last until Wednesday 9:00 PM EST, or whenever a majority of votes is attained.

Votes needed for instantaneous lynch: 7

Bravo to the Nazi mafia.

I did not suspect NH at all...

Vote: Al Araam

As I said, Araam repeatedly claiming and drawing attention to his alleged novice status is suspicious.

I am new at this. If it's irrational for experienced players to use that particular tactic, well, I'm not an experienced player. I don't see how that makes me the bad guy here.

And as you said where? I don't see any mention of that. Of course, you might be referencing certain conversations you has with others last night.

That might be true. It may be a crutch I only need because I don't really know how the game goes yet.
Feigning ignorance of how the game works must always draw suspicion. I'm not saying Al Araam is lying when he says he is confused... well, yes I am saying Araam is lying when he says he is confused. Nothing personal and nothing wrong with lying. This is a game for paranoids and hypochondriacs.

Whether this is or isn't Araam's first game, there is a possibility he was assigned a mafia night role.

Keep an eye on Araam is all I'm saying.

Pardon me. I didn't actually see that or I would have responded to it earlier. Actually, I probably wouldn't have because, honestly, how do you respond to "you are mafia because you don't know how things work around here"? I'm still getting my feet under me and I make no apologies for that. I don't have ten games of experience with these players, so it's going to be a little more difficult this game. Doesn't make me the bad guy here. That logic seems more than a little suspect to me.

Yes, I recall that: TC did call attention to Al Araam yesterday.

I do think that at least some (though probably not all) of the people who voted Atticus are mafia. I think my vote for Abnar was still a good choice, but I won't vote for anyone until they log on. I'd also like to hear from Huesca, Flumes, and Allesandra, since those four make the Atticus-voters.

Atticus voted for me, so I voted for him.

I never bothered changing the vote, because its the first day, and a vote is a vote is a vote, to be honest. Hell, did anyone here suspect NH in the least?

Its how votes look over time that makes a difference.

I voted for Atticus because he was cocky... Cockiness doesn't equate to guilt... But on day 1 with no voting history, I felt as confident as I could on a Day 1 vote that he was bad. Whoops, obviously wrong. After last game, I'm tempted to vote for the people I find least suspicious, seeing as I'm on a bad streak right now...

As solid as I felt about my vote for Atticus, I really found Allesandra's vote for him to be somewhat odd. I'd like to hear from her. Holding off on any votes for now.

Also should point out that Nag voted for NH and vice versa... Nag said NH was a Nazi... Interested to hear from him.

Well I've changed it at various time for a few reasons... One time I wanted to put up the new flag I was using when Flumes became Bakuba... I changed it back... More recently, Lebron James was up since I thought Cleveland would win it's first title since the Browns in 1964, but we lost. :(
I put up Marinid's flag for 2 reasons. Obviously because it is my new nation... But also because I wanted to not jinx the Cavs this year, and I don't have my dog picture on this computer. :( My family computer at home is pretty virus infested, so hopefully it lasts long enough for me to resurrect the dog... I don't know if I will go home again before Thanksgiving... If I do, I promise to change it!

I did find a semi related picture on page 9 of the post your picture thread!

Well, I've gone over the past few threads.

People who don't post often include Leb, Telosan, Huesca, and Nag. If I remember correctly, this is usually a sign of scummy in some rulebook by some player, but the details escape me. Of course, people could just be busy, so I can't be certain.

It is a little funny that TC made it thru Day 1. No offense, he usually never does. Nag said he was going to be killed on Night One, which makes me think he's not bad....maybe.

I don't know. It's very confusing to try and figure it out. But Telosan and Huesca are on my radar.

If a person never posts frequently, their lurking in a particular game is not particularly suspicious. If I ever go quiet, it'll be a mafia tell. =P

Nag could have been on the killing mafia team, they're alternating nights this game. If he is, he could have said that deliberately because he knew he wouldn't die night 1. Not an accusation, just pointing out some logical flaws.

Would like to hear from Telo, Leb, and Flumes.

Here I am.

Got nothing to say. Nazis did good taking down NH. Goes to show you need to keep an eye on the least suspicious as well as the more obvious. Soviets get a shot tonight and they're already weakened.

I've some ideas, but nothing concrete enough to put in words.

This.

Vote: Nag

According to the TC Theory of Speculation, Nag looks scummy. More importantly, he was the only one with a vote on NH, who turned up dead this morning.

Nice going trying to pin your voting habits on me. Your vote is yours, I'm not responsible for your vote.

I will change my vote to Nag though. He was the only person who voted NH yesterday.

Unvote: Al Araam
Vote: Nag
