Religion may divide us, but the Lord works in mysterious ways. You support in our recent war with Venice, a war lat has left me scarred, has not been forgotten. I would suggest that we meet, for we have much to discuss. My Grossmarschall, Erich von Salza, is willing to meet you anywhere, but perhaps a neutral site like the Shetland Islands would be much better.

As with any other country, we will agree to meet with your ambassador, but as a sign of good trust and faith in the world, we ask it to be held in Wales, at Conwy Castle.

I understand, expect him soon.
______________

Erich von Salza, was perhaps a bit more diplomatic then most of the Order. He wasn't a large man, average really. He didn't act like the rest of the Order, he behaved more like a kindly grandfather than a warrior. But his actions had driven the Order to the power it enjoyed today, he was perhaps the Order's greatest spy, and he could befriend enemies in minuets. He could be cold and ruthless, but he could be friendly and kind. That's why he was traveling to Wales, because the Order had alot to gain from friendship with Wales.

Owain Glyndŵr paced back and forth in the courtyard. He didn't know what to expect from his visitors. He only knew what others could tell him, and usually it wasn't good. But Glyndŵr was determined to make the best of this meeting. He looked up and saw a movement through the entrance, the Oder's ambassador had arrived....

Erich von Salza voiced boomed through the halls

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, you see a man I meet challenged me to a bit of friendly competition. Needless to say I had to spend the next day recovering from a hang-over."

Glyndŵr let out a hearty laugh. He had expected a tense meeting, but he was glad to see that the Teutonic diplomat was in all friendly.

"That is not a problem my friend. I myself could use some of that relaxation. Indeed, Europe is in a troubled time. Things do not fare well in the Isles either."

Reaching for a bottle of old rum, Glyndŵr poured himself and his Teutonic guest a glass full. After handing it off, Glyndŵr took sips and proceeded.

"Mmmnn. Well, since you requested this meeting, you may bring up the first order of business."

"Well its quite simple, my Order wishes to have friends in many places, to combat wickedness," Erich von Salza paused to take a sip of the rum, "And while your nation isn't, um, the best fit, we acknowledge that the Lord works in mysterious ways."
