Posted Image For years, Tŷ Hywel has stood as a place of meeting for leaders of the Modern world. Many leadrers have come and go, but now it is the Romans turn.... Gregory Sais looked upon the Tŷ Hywel for truthfully, he hated the building. It was a another modern building was that was constructed after the Revolution. He preferred a more traditional building...maybe I can push to move it, Thought Sais. No, I need to get back with the matters at hand. With that, Gregory Sais walked into the room where the meeting was to take place. |

Prince Theodore Aldebaran, entered the meeting room and greeted Mr. Sais. Shaking hands, he thanked the Welshman for his hospitality in the beautiful country of Wales. The Roman Empire was eager to improve its diplomatic position in the British Isles, and it was hoped that cooperation with Wales in the region would lead to benefits for both nations. |

Sais shook the Roman Prince's hand and proceeded to sit down at the end large wooden table. He gestured for the prince to do the same. The Prince took a seat next to him, and the two began their discussion: Sais started. "Prince Aldebaran, it is a great pleasure to meet you. First off, I would like to apologize for any tensions that might of erupted during the crisis." "Is there anything specific you would like to discuss?" |

"Well, I'm very pleased to enjoy your hospitality in your beautiful country. My hope is to establish a trade and diplomatic relationship. The Roman Empire's primary interest in the Isles is the safety of our longtime ally Ireland, so we would also be interested in knowing how Wales feels about Ireland." |

"Trade is a definite possibility, though I warn you, tariffs does not go well with our economy, and in the end will not benefit you. As for Ireland, we've had some rough times, but nothing big against them. Of course we have our disagreements, but I hardly feel that it tarnishes our friendship." |

"We have long been a nation that placed an emphasis on trade, so tariffs are not in our interest. Perhaps we could have a free trade agreement between our nations?" |

"Trade is also one of our top priorities. I would be happy to sign a free trade agreement. Surely it will lead to great prosperity for both of our nations." Sais started again. "There is one question that has been bothering me. It seems that you and the French have quite a turbulent relationship. We have a very strong friendship with the French, so naturally we would like to know who they trouble you." |

"Our contest with the French is their continual spreading of revolutionary propaganda outside their borders. We have no desire to see them harmed otherwise, and if they would cease such matters, there would be no quarrel." |

"Perhaps, our nations could benefit from a mutual defense agreement. Wales is still in its infancy, and it must rely on the strength of its kindly neighbors for the time being." |

"Which nations threaten your country? Are you in danger? The empire considers it a good investment to protect our trade partners from aggression, so as long as we are trading, you can expect our aid if you are attacked."

OOC: I'm assuming this is before the Scottish incidents, so I'll leave it out. IC: "We have no immediate enemies currently. I am humbled that you accept such an offer. It truly will always serve the better to be prepared."" |

OOC: Ok, I'll wrap this up if you don't mind. IC: "Well, it is our hope that this relationship will be beneficial to both parties." The two men chatted for a little while longer. Afterwards, Prince Aldebaran was toured around the city. They shook hands before he left, ready to find his next destination. |
