Nag, I am very serious. Shunning is VERY effective punishment, especially in a closed community. Reedemption and forgiveness are also great rewards.

If everyone you knew shunned you - denied you food, shelter, comfort, conversation, contact, work, education or stimulation - how long would you last?

Carnal Bliss is Bliss. It's Christianity's great lie that it's not.

Judaism - sex and reproduction are the holiest of acts one can do
Islam - discourages celibacy
Hinduism - Karma Sutra anyone?
Paganism - Paganism.
Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints - Mormons.
Wicca - Do unto others! ;)
You posted something sig-worthy yourself. :P

Sedulius facepalms.

I have a decent amount to say but not the time to say it in.

All I can say is, oh how the world is full of flaw and misconception.

And Nag, you're right, Satan does hate humanity in general. As to the rest of your statements, I'll respond another time.

Oh, I wasn't going to argue with you. I was thinking of many examples that agree with what you posted.

Still, if I were shunned, I'd simply move.
