It's a game youngsters are playing these days.

What is the penalty for not announcing your loss? If you have already lost, why does it matter whether you announce it not?

And this seems retardedly postmodern.

Not announcing it?

No penalty really, nothing physical, no reproachment whatsoever, but the ongoing nagging feeling that you know you've lost the game and that no one else around you has lost either.

I saw this topic and the first thing I thought was, "Damnit! I was winning!"

Learned about this game at CTY. Nothing like walking into the cafeteria and shouting, "I lost!" just to hear the chorus of over 1k kids responding with the same words.

The Devil's Advocate

In 2003 this meme hit Newgrounds. And it hit us hard. And it was funny as hell.

It's now 2009.

I don't care if millions more people now know about The Game thanks to Facebook. This got old six years ago. You are six years late in your attempt at trolling/being amusing. Six years!

Let this die.

Let it die.

Let it die.

****

[Edit - Sage]

Huh, according to wikipedia the game was on the internet in 2001. It was old and tired by the time I'd even heard of it. This makes me feel even more irked.
