a campaign to liberate the Americas is primed and ready, but people who committed aren't posting. Everyone is stuck in OT at the moment. |

I'm ready for the American war, but 1) I don't know what to do, and 2) I'm currently occupied. |

Put a time limit on it. We get a full day to PM our actions. If he doesn't PM you by tommorow, give him the default with everything stacked on his "capital" and have them move evenly in all directions. Since this may be long term, I'm picturing about 2 weeks, maybe three, may I run the naval portion of the war games? I've a perfect idea. Also, how do you make hexes on a microsoft paint program? |

I've been getting bored on here as well. I've mainly been waiting on the upcoming religious war. I was also holding my breath for a war to happen in the Isles, but it didn't happen. Mainly, it's a matter of what players actually want to go to war (or have the time), which is why that war didn't happen, and why the religious war is going to have to wait until the parties involved are available. I would go to war with you for the hell of it, Atticus, but it wouldn't make sense since Wales is more or less and ally to Ireland. Plus, realistically, Ireland would want to stay out of war period with a major operation on the horizon. That said, I'm not stopping anyone from invading Ireland. Anyone who wants a war that has a reason to attack Ireland, I'm all ears. I just need it to be balanced enough that I would have a realistic chance. I tire of defensive wars as well, so I would like the possibility of a counter-campaign. |

Y'know, one doesn't always have to play a character from their own country, and I could always use a few people to help me finish the American campaign. Because NRE's countries are the only ones thus far getting any IC credit for the defeat of the Dominion, and yet there are several states that are RPing themselves, in the post-Dominion world, to be hero states of the war. Earn the title people. Edited by Kasnyia, Sep 24 2009, 04:12 PM.

Kas, I stay away from the Dominion for a reason. Had we had our war, it would have been great. But after I just got pushed to the side, I lost interest. I had my part in the Dominion's defeat in the untold part of the story. The Knights fought in the Middle East and Europe. Had I not been pushed out, it would have been written that way. You know I don't hold it against you, Kas. I hold it against other people for forcing it to move along. The way I see it, Ireland was no hero state. Its actions got swept under the rug just as I was OOC. |

I was referring to some of the other players with the hero state comment, Sed. The offer was also for everyone, as I already know your deal. |

Alright. Well, if no one else wants it, I'll take it. It'll help things move along. I hate seeing the forum slow like this. |

Pick a side then: Dominion or Veicht. Coalition has (assuming they will still honor their commitments) enough players there. Then just read the thread and take it from there. |

Is that an invitation? Do something else with Rome, something that I can't ignore. NRE can then claim that you acted without consulting his nation. I'm almost a little hesitant to go into a small scale war since, with all our alliances, we'd be at a world war stage. I also want to flesh out the Venetian military before actually doing something. I guess I'll do that this weekend. |

You don't have to. Huesca, the LFN is set up so you can fight other members of the alliance without the world collapsing on your head. |

For the Dominion- The commander of the Carribbean (which, as the map shows, is still under Zapht's control) is trying to take advantage of the distraction caused by the war between Veicht and the Coalition by making a play for Panama, so that his forces can link up with the Dominion Pacific Fleet and thus have the strength needed for more a more aggresive strategy overall in the theatre. For the Veicht Regime- Anton Proust has personally taken control of the armies battling against the Coalition invasion from Pacifica and NAN and inteds to fight to the last man. First goal is to hold Lower Quebec, but also retain control of the former Dominion United Governorate of America (basically all the green territory in the contiguous former United States) and its strategically important capital of Chicago. Sed and Telo, call your dibs. |

For the American Continent, I'm fine with running a force of mercenaries. Assuming that this is during the Dominion era, I may use this as a back story for future RPs in the Isles. |

Whichever side is willing to pay more. :P Probably whichever side ends up winning, I guess the Veicht? For future RPs, I intend to have a former mercenary start a civil war. His background will include victorious campaigns in the American theater. So yeah. |

Okay, you work for Veicht then. Take a look at the New Chancellor thread in the American War and Negotiation forum. There is a map of who controls what there. Whatever is in green is Veicht's land. Whatever is in red is the Dominion, and whatever is in blue belongs to the Coalition. |
