So, I'm doing a practicum for Radio Production on campus. I get to pick songs from the server, play them, and talk. It's pretty cool. I'm doing this from 8-10 pm Central Time on Monday nights, so if anyone wants to make requests, post them here. Mostly college rock, alternative and such, but some traditional rock and metal, as well as other lesser-known acts.
OU Wire
That's the website where the station is streaming. Post your requests here, and I'll try to play them next Monday night. :)

TC- I don't recall seeing any Ted Nugent in there, though that's a good song. I did play a Stevie Ray Vaughn song though. Keep in mind this is mostly college rock.
Sed- I didn't see any Ozzy or Black Sabbath. :/
Tous- They have quite a few Beatles songs, though I'm not sure if that was one or not.

I'm behind the times. Not really sure what college rock encompasses.

"Losing My Religion" by REM
"Teen Age Riot" by Sonic Youth
"Synchronicity" by the Police
"Wrapped Around your finger" by the Police
"Love Song" by the Cure
"Ain't Talkin Bout Love" by Van Halen
"Irish Blood, English Heart" by Morrissey
"First of the Gang to Die" by Morrissey

Ditto.

Hm... in that case, do you have any heavy metal or hard rock whatsoever? If not, play the Beatles.

My tentative working definition of "college rock" is: REM and bands that sort of sound like REM.

CMJ.com has a very loose description of college rock, what currently charts and such. We have a decent selection of music, I've just never heard of most of it. Tonight, I was able to find and play Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Bad Religion, Mastodon, Cradle of Filth, Daft Punk, Smashing Pumpkins, The Nightwatchman, One Day As A Lion, KMFDM, Queens of the Stone Age, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Beatles, Trivium, Iron Maiden, Thrice. I noticed a considerable amount of Radiohead as well.

Any possibility of playing "Lose Yourself" by Eminem? I find that even a lot of rap haters like that song.

I'll take a look next week. Doesn't really mesh well with most of the stuff I'd play, but it wouldn't hurt to look.

Led Zepplin's "Kashmir" is the greatest song ever. Omission would be a moral failing.

I possess that song. While they definitely possess Zeppelin, I don't think they do and I can't play my own stuff due to licensing issues.

My radio show's tonight from 8-10pm CDT.

The WIRE

Hard rock, metal, punk, and other good stuff that they possess (hopefully). I wish I could play my own music.

Any further requests?

Ha. I have my doubts that this would be there. Even if it is, it's not really the kind of music I'd particularly choose to play. :P
