THE TIME TO VOTE IS NOW Posted Image Dear Citizen, The time to vote for the 125 seats of the National Assembly open to the public for election has finally come. This year five political parties have organize themselves to bid for your vote. It is your patriotic duty as a Citizen of the Military Republic to answer this call and go to your local voting center to vote. Remember that all citizens are given the right to vote, another prime example of how the Republics rewards its citizens of its civilians. Polls with be open from 8am to 8pm tomorrow. All employers understand the importance of your vote and the state has already guaranteed compensation to them for income lost while you fulfill your citizen right, so please do not hesitate to leave work. Civilians caught trying to vote will be arrested. Results of the election shall be posted both on the web as well as on local billboards and published in tomorrow papers. Attached Below is a technical outline of the Political Parties running for seats. Sincerely, The Government of the Military Republic of Georgia ==PARTIES APPROVED FOR SEATS IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY== The Conservative Party -Monarchist, Traditionalist, Conservative -In favor of a Constitutional Monarchy for Northern Georgia. -Is currently accused of masterminding the assassination of Prince Demetre Bagrationi III under the leadership of Otar Tsutsunava. -Believes in tax breaks for married couples, committed to the general principle of reducing direct taxation whilst arguing that the country needs a dynamic and competitive economy, supported a pro free-trade foreign policy within the mainstream of international affairs and the expansion of the Northern Goergian Army, believing that it is too small for current operations. The Democratic Party -Liberal, Democratic -In favor of more democracy for Georgia -Is accused of being a co-conspirator party in the assassination of PrincePrince Demetre Bagrationi III -Believes in the decriminalisation of recreational drugs, lower taxes for poor and middle class people, and make up that government revenue deficit by taxing the rich more, support universal free education, and consider military intervention to always be a last resort, and only condone its use after options such as economic sanctions, humanitarian assistance and diplomatic pressure fail to protect human rights. The United Georgia Association -Unionist, Democraitc -In favor of a Unified Georgia as it does not accept the the Guranburg Accords and believes the Georgia War is still on going. -Accused of being a anarchist organization that uses political means to incite civil disobedience. -Believes in a true peace conference between the two Georgian states, a democratically elected government, transformation of the Georgia economy into a capitalist powerhouse, religious freedom. The Communist Party -Communist, Marx-Leninism, Trotskyism -In favor of the creation of a Soviet State. -Accused of being an agent of Southern Georgia sent to incite workers riots in the lower classes as means to undermine the Northern Government. -Believes in the creation of a one-party state that is led by the Communist party, democratic centralism, that capitalism can only be overthrown by revolutionary means and therefore any attempts to reform capitalism from within, such as democratic socialism, are doomed to fail, implementation of a dictatorship of the proletariat, and to educate the proletariat so as to remove the various modes of false consciousness, such as religion and nationalism. Posted Image Dear Citizen, Elections for the 125 seats of the National Assembly open to the public have concluded and it is a pleasure to announce to you that the Konservatiuli Partia (Conservative Party) has been announced as the majority party for the second National Assembly. Though the Konservatiuli Partia holds several difference values and political opinions than that of the government, we shall keep an open mind and hope to work with the party to work out our differences and find compromises which benefit all parties. Remember that the government shall continue to work in the best interests of the people and continue to build a Georgia we here in the North can be proud of.
