I got into Philosophy of the Mind, session two. My parents won't let me go to two sessions.

On the plus side, that leaves more time at home for getting into fights over girls and trying to get back your stolen money.

Cool stuff.

Incidentally, I met a random CTYer freshman at my school today. She was wearing a CTY shirt. Don't know her name.

Also, I hung out with CTYers this weekend. It was fun.

Sounds fun. No one near me goes to CTY. I have no one to share stories with  .

Okay, I'm back from CTY, but not back to the forums. I have a ton of work to do, and then I leave again, so I'm not going to try to catch up much yet.

So CTY was interesting. I realized on the third day that it was my nomore year. My parents insisted I had another year left and I had wanted to double session the last year, but it's too late now.

I was a bit anti-social for the first 2 or 3 days, but decided to learn raving. I started watching other people raving, got a set of duds from one of them, and took my shoelaces and started trying. By the end of the first week, I had learned 1, 2, and 3 beats. I wasn't in the raving circle for the first dance since my one glowstick broke off the shoelace after hitting the back of my head. I'm immensely happy that happened, though, in hindsight. Instead of raving, I found a few of my classmates and formed the Antisocial Dance Club, which was basically just me, 3 girls from class, 2 girls from their hall, and another guy that I have no idea where he came from. On Saturday, I hung out with them again all day and at the dance, I was with them as well, with the exception of the raving songs, during which 2 girls from the group insisted I go in the circle.

In the second week, I practiced raving and learned how to do a helicopter, windmill, and started learning the orbital by the end of the week. In class, I generally hung out with the girls I was at the dances with. Not much really happened aside from this. The activities were nothing special most of the time for the entire 3 weeks. At the Friday dance, I raved on the raving songs, but spent most of my time with the antisocial club. Same for Saturday, with a few exceptions. *The details of these dances will be in the "I need a girlfriend" thread* Saturday was also crossdress day, which I participated in. I had a skirt and top and went to the girls' dorm after breakfast, where I had my hair tied back, mascara and eyeshadow, and pinkish red nailpolish. I did change back and remove all the makeup for the dance, though.

During the third week, I tried to pick up a 7th trick (can't remember the name of it), but was too busy with other things to get it right. At the urging of one of the girls in the class that I was always with, I went to the Acting Improv finale. I'm thoroughly disappointed that no one ever told me, over the two years I was at Lancaster, how awesome Acting Improv was. The last dance was a story of itself. *It will also be in the "I need a girlfriend" thread* Friday, the last day, was depressing. The Passionfruit was it's usual tearfest. I intended to write a speech, but never got around to it and instead decided to just make it up as I went. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to speak as we ran out of time. Sam, the previous Holder of the Duck (which was passed to my hallmate, the same one who got the duct tape dress last year) handed down all the traditions, etc. She revived the Satan position by giving someone (don't remember who) 5 inch heels as a gift (not as the traditional object to be passed down). I cried multiple times during the Passionfruit and the little 10 minute dance afterwards.

...

I want to go back...
