The Church is pretty easy to run. The Irish want an elected Pope in Rome, and don't want anything heretical to be added to the Church. That's left to the better judgment of who runs the Church.

What exactly are you attempting to do? Make a Vatican, or just have a pope there? Either way, Venice would likely wholeheartedly support it. The other portions of Telosan wouldn't care one way or another.

I humbly ask for volunteers.

I'd be glad to help! Especially with the church. I need to get more active in RPs, and the church has struck my interest. Archbishop Anacleto is the closest Old Catholic bishop/archbishop/etc geographicly to Rome.

I will be able to make posts from time to time from the library, so I won't simply vanish. I will attempt to keep certain things going myself, namely the Russo-Irish relations.

Though no move has actually been made, I was hoping to get Venice in on good relations with Eire.

Going by what happened in the Dominion Wars, Venice probably has a decent status with Russia, being the direct successor state to Telosan Europe, but that's not really related.

The League of Free Nations only needs Devin Wire to sign, and then we are pretty much ready to go with that. (He was to be one of the founding members.) Where it goes is up to the founding nations, and possible new council nations.

Once LFN is founded, you could announce that Eire would like to observe at first, to see how thier experiment works without thier guidance. The other founder nations should be able to take care of it. If you PM me about it, I'll help you move it along in the direction you want it while you're gone.

If someone is able to control Ireland, I won't be too worried about the LFN. You guys should do well enough.

As for the Church, I'm not sure. I haven't thought it through that deeply. I do know I want an elected Pope of the "Old" Catholic Church in Rome. If we can pull that off, I'll be somewhat surprised.

EDIT: Oh, and as far as relations between Ireland and Venice, you pretty much secured good relations in signing the Treaty of Tara.

Ok, Nag isn't available.

I might actually be able to get on more than I thought. We'll need to see how things fold out over the next week.

Otherwise, who interested in being Ireland for a while?
