She's not that hot. She deserves to be in this thread, though.

Here are a couple of pics of a friend of mine. She's an amateur model, models under the name Lydia Nova. I think she's attractive and does some good work.

Um, I don't think so. I don't know how you'd know her.

She just seems familiar is all. Perhaps it's just from your profile.

EDIT: Okay, spotted her. Yeah, I don't know her from anywhere.

Besides getting Short Skirt/Long Jacket by Cake stuck in my head, a Chuck rerun reminded me that I hadn't seen Yvonne Strahovski in this thread yet. I'm not usually big on blondes, but ho-lee shit.

I wish she wasn't as tall as she is (though she doesn't immediately seem tall when she is standing near Chuck and John Casey, both ridiculously tall). Tallness in women is unattractive imo.

I disagree. I like tall women, so long as they are not taller than me. 6'2" or 6'2" is right about where I have to draw the line. A tall woman means long legs. And I am a sucker for a gorgeous brunette with nice, long legs. It would be rather hypocritical of me to hold a women's height against her in this case.

There's no hypocrisy in holding a woman's tallness against her just like there's no hypocrisy in holding the flat chestedness of a flat chested woman against her. Legs are nice but I find tall women's legs look bowed and not shapely (including Yvonne Strahovsky's).

Did you ever think that, just maybe, if she is nice, witty, and fun, height should not matter? What do you think of women that won't consider a short guy?? It is so superficial. TC, I am constantly surprised by your personal insecurities!

There's nothing wrong with not finding tall women attractive. I, personally, whould not date a woman taller than I am. Fortunately, at 6'2", this isn't much of a problem for me. =)

I don't like women taller than I am.

Beauty is in the high of the beholder. When you're in love you find your partner attractive despite their faults. Being nice, witty and fun help cover up faults.

But no-one wants to be with someone they find unattractive. That's not superficial.

No-one wants to roll over in the morning and recoil before chanting to themselves "nice, witty and fun".

Which is to say, in the abstract, TC is correct.
In practice, if TC's ideal woman turned out to be 5'8" then I think he'd be able to look past that (i.e. NH is correct).

I prefer women somewhere between 5'3" and 5'7". I'm somewhere between 5'10" and 6'0". No one gets the measurements right.

Amanda Bynes has to be one of great untapped beauties of my generation. Yet because she actually decided to work hard at her craft versus do drugs, become an alcoholic, or sleep around it seems as if she's been sorely passed over. Tis a shame.

Worry not! She is seeking to remedy that:

Wikipedia

She has since stated that she is "reevaluating" how to spend her social time. In the January 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan, Bynes stated: "I used to be known as the girl who was anti the club scene. But I'm finding a balance. I can have a drink and dance if I want. You have to go out to meet people and guys. I'm in that phase where I just want to have fun."

She's also really, really hot.

Especially in certain episodes of the Amanda show.
