Even though the nation was splintering, one of the very few things they still shared was a football team, as the members originated from each portion of Telosan. Most celebrated for winning the first Confederations Cup, a feat that would go down in history, but in Asia, the victory took on a deeper meaning. When it was heard that Telosan had won, the government officials were given a day off to celebrate. Now Telosan had one victory, albeit in a sport, over France.

Nahhh.
We only hate the Asian warlords. Telosan America is still the core, right? France would be very interested in building relations with them.

France - The tournament is over and the first Confederations Cup champion has been crowned. Alcohol runs freely in major Telosanti cities across the globe and though Les Bleus lost on home soil a deep feeling of pride can be felt throughout Versailles and France.

The first Confederations Tournament, resulting in the crowning of a Confederations Cup champion, attracted worldwide attention and, at least on one level, has acted as an extension of political rivalries; though to be sure, a loss here takes away nothing compared to war or a serious international disagreement. Garnering millions of viewers all around the world, FIFA is still determining exactly how successful its first attempt at an international football tournament went. Despite increasing tensions between the World Military Dominion and other nations, FIFA chairman Antonio Meazza has stated that he expects large final numbers to be published in regards to revenue generated and viewership. Chairman Meazza has also praised the French government and people in their handling of the first Confederations Cup.

Though the next tournament has yet to be scheduled, it is a likely possibility that regional or continental championships will take place. Also to be published soon is the rankings table.
