No no, that's really uncommon in Quebec. Usually, you will have one bathroom per floor. In a common two floors house, the first floor bathroom will have a toilet, a sink and a bath. It's mostly the same for the basement bathroom, except that the bath will be replaced by a shower and there will be a washing machine/clothes dryer there. |

Last place I stayed in (in London) didn't. But that was a Hostel not a Hotel. I don't know of any hotels that don't. |
