I got bored and starting thinking, if there was a NS Chess game, who would be what piece i.e Paradise and Nag would be Kings. Who would be what on your Board? And how would you place the player in their spot? (I didn't include myself but you can if you want, and don't feel hurt if your left out) Kings(Most Powerful)- Paradise and Nag Queens(Gayest)- NH and CE Bishops(Older Members)- Tristan da Cunha, Scythirus, NRE and RD Knights(Large Scale RPers)- Kasnyia, Assassin(Meh, iffy), Al Qalaa and Eleytheria-Duo Rooks("Dead" Nations)- Noriega, Wadj, Kiev-Volhynia and Kiensland(Kinda) Pawns(How do I put this nicely....)- Konosha, Sedulius, Sir Metz, Telosan, Toussaint, Ulgania, Alberto, Devin Wire, Porcu, Filo, Ukabanea, Ibrium, Huesca, flumes, lebowski2123 and Quaon(BTW Quaon is the only member who's name starts with a Q) And the "God" piece is.... Sistan! Edited by Menhad, Jun 17 2009, 11:55 PM.

I think I'll be upgrading myself from pawn rank soon. List seems fair enough though. I wouldn't know what to change... |

 Restore your nation! I think most people forgot you even ever roleplayed here. Sure, you've posted in the OT, but... When WAS the last time you made an IC post? At least a few years ago. And, if I may speak frankly, we need more players now that most of our old guard is leaving... |

I wasn't even on the list... >_> But hey a lot of us are turning into the old guard now... only there is the older guard and the geriatric guard to deal with. So yes, we need more players now that our older guard and geriatric guard are increasingly small in number and well I don't think we need to mention diminished mental capacity here. |

Oh... Hey Drax... I forgot about you. :whistling:  I believe we have a lot of newbies whom have potential, Sedu, Ulg and Porcu to name a few. ... Alas (and I mean no offense by this) despite all the skill in the world of our newcomers, I will never stop missing nor relinquish the special place the Old guard have in my heart. I can only strive to live up to the phenomenal examples they laid out for the rest of us, and to teach their legacies to those not privileged to interact with them. I think a tear came to my eye. EDIT: And when the eff are you getting back in the game yourself, bro? Edited by Eleytheria-Duo, Jun 18 2009, 06:20 PM.

Well, there's a soccer/football RP being setup that should lead into other sports. You could always come back just for that  |

When OOC and IC tensions die down a bit. Having to watch a lot of this OOC and IC bickering and arguing is making me sick and removing what little motivation I have to continue many of my IC plot lines which I always feel bad about ignoring somewhat. As of right now I'm going to wait and give it the time that was requested (july) and if things don't improve well... I'll have to come to some sort of conclusion then. I am of course around in OOC forms for now. |

Which is precisely why I keep asking you people to take your complaints to a mod and bicker via PM. If nothing else it gives the illusion that we're all grown ups who can have fun without having to pick a fight. :) And I'ma not gonna force anyone to RP in these "times of great drama". But I really wish people wouldn't let other people's problems stop them from playing. The great tradition of IGNORING people who belligerently get in your way can always be enacted, and everyone here is open to reasonable compromise. If you're tired of bickering, then start an RP with no bickering. I'm sure everyone else will see how fun it is. |

RPers are so fickle Also this is reminding me of when I started, and people were sorting through Balance of Power lists. I was technically listed as a World Power because I had dealings in Africa and the Middle East. Weakest world power ever  |

Would someone be willing to expand on this by: 1) Assigning the pieces/forumites to the black and white armies on the chess board? 2) Placing the pieces on the board (so which player is which specific pawn, bishop, etc.)? 3) Coming up with stylized versions of chessmen to represent the players? |
