Chairman of the Bank Posts: 12,339 Group: Veterans Member #164 Joined: July 15, 2005	OOC- I can see the Dominion allowing Doom et all to leave HRE to go to meetings with states friendly to them (and not necessarily the Dominion), since the Dominion and HRE have a neutrality pact. I can't see the reverse, however. The Dominion borders and airspace is closed to non-Dominion traffic (with the exception of those who have express permission, like the HRE people). So sending people and supplies makes no sense. The HRE would have to go and retrieve it.

Filo doesn't want to fight the Dominion with the HRE, but I guarentee he will have to if soldiers come pouring out. And don't worry about moving the RP along, I've created the thread for the European invasion already, I just have to make another post or two.

The HRE will have to send planes to your lands to claim anything you give them is all I'm saying. Your planes cannot go to them. It may not be the sole RP thread, but it is the thread from which the Dominion war will continue to commence.

For one, CE's disappearance could provide the OOC rationale and sudden drop in Dominion power needed for an IC Coalition victory in Europe. The OOC disappearance could be considered as some incident (Catholic rebellion/guerilla war/etc.) that ties down/weakens Dominion resources and makes the border between Dominion- and non-Dominion- Europe porous. That could be a rationale for this thread as it would provide an OOC basis for exchanges between HRE and Coalition and lend credence to the events of the war.

It is they who occupy North Africa, the Levant, and Iberia, and it is they who command the Mediterranean. And a drop in Dominion power is not required for a victory, as there is another way, which I have already discussed with NRE on how things will ultimately work out. Philipp will not move a soldier to fight the Dominion because it is not is own interest fight a war, but HRE is free to commerce with any nation of the world it is not part of the Dominion no? If the planes of HRE will be shot down an alliance with dominion enemies will become inevitable(and also if i like avoid a war may be usefull to HRE to gain Slovenia B) ). The drop in Dominion power reflecting Catholic Europe's collapse could serve as a perfectly realistic rationale for this RP.

There is no drop in the Dominion's power because CE does not = the Dominion. They were equal allies. Also, for the sake of the RP, I will not consider OOC events to suddenly change the balance of power as that balance of power has a major effect on the RP.
