I have been basically inactive since March, if not longer. It is perhaps that I committed myself to too many things at a time, or too large of things. Here's my plan. I want to rid myself of all my nations but Ireland. I would keep it based in NS Nation Sedulion (since it is governed and protected by that). Syria would be absorbed into the Roman territory of RD's choosing after the Dominion war. Sibiriya would be toppled by the Dominion war, and possibly absorbed into Russia after the Dominion war. Inanisi would be toppled in a shadow war with the Brotherhood. I would try to unify the rest of Ireland. I want to start RPs after all this has happened if possible. If anyone demands my commitment to a situation this changes, I will do so. Understand, I am doing this to simplify my commitment so I can actually participate in RPs. With one nation, I can easily keep up with my commitments. |

Sedu, I know exactly where your coming from. Its probably why I was skeptical of making new nations for nearly a full year, until it became mandatory for Socialist Eleytheria and Murmanskaya came around in Europe (Of which is in effective hiatus until at least the Dominion invasion of Europe.) I sympathize. |

Hey thanks, guys. I've pretty much solidified on this plan now. I hadn't known the progress of the Dominion war, and apparently Syria was overrun. So, I suppose the Order's withdrawal has good reason behind it. I'm going to do an RP detailing the withdrawal and a peace treaty with the Dominion (between it and the Order) to preserve Ireland from war. After that, I'm going to RP the annexation of Connacht. Then, probably as long as the Dominion war lasts, I will RP the shadow war with the Inane. Once the war is done, or if anyone wants to start a post-war RP, I'm free to do whatever RP I wish. It's like starting out new again. |

It wasn't RP'd because it was decided we'd skip over the Roman War (with them at defeat) for the sake of moving the story along. Regrettable, since that was planned out quite nicely. |

I blame the forum majority for forcing the story along, and myself for not acting sooner (though I did have school and women to deal with). It really would have been a good RP. But to be honest, I'm not really mad about it at this point. It's one of those "oh well, too bad" and move on kind of things. Concentrating on Ireland will keep me out of something happening like this again. Telo, you're welcome to help in the Connacht RP. I think the way I want to pull all this together is in a kind of chapter format, sort of like the High King was writing memoirs and he was currently writing about the past ten years or so. Our RP of annexing Connacht could be like a flashback or something. Though, to be honest, I think this annexation should be kept nonviolent. Connacht would logically quickly join for the purpose of uniting Ireland, especially so when considering the threat of the Dominion. Connacht not under united control could easily be used as a staging ground for invasions. |

England was long considered a 'wild card' in older European politics, or an ace in the hole depending on the shifting alliances. You'll be fine in that regard, even though it's Ireland/just a little more drunk |
