Fullarton broke into hysterical laughter as the conversation continued! Sweat was pouring off of everyone at the table, especially Miyazaki, and the Pirate King couldn't help himself, "Anyone else here with the guts to ask Gassel to be their pimp?" and he laughed again, even louder than before.

OOC- He is Peacock hunting, but it was under the backdrop of a party at the Gassel House, which is what I am referring to. There are more VIPs present there than just the ex-Topaz.

As for the sidetrack, NH's idea, so NH can answer that.

EDIT-

IC-

"I hear old Robby laughing in the background," Gassel stated, "Tell him to ready my beach house in Lambda for next week, where he and I can have some martinis..."

OOC: The head of a country that only wants to make a profit, at an anti-Dominion conference is personally speaking to Gassel at the friendly invitation of a pirate. I'm not sure how to not make it weird

IC: "Dear God man, that is one expensive brothel you run. I will be sure to pick them up for personal inspection before razing everything you hold dear to the ground."

With that, he slid the phone back to Fullarton. With a mildly annoyed look, he said again, "Both of our loyalties may be based on business, but you're making it far too tempting to change sides," As he mellowed himself, he went on to say, "Send my regards to Gassel. If our campaign lasts through his birthday I will personally send him a card. He sounded, shall we say, homely."

OOC: Uh... AA is OK with this side track right? And what gala? I thought Gassel was currently Peacock hunting.
OOC: Oh, this was all me. All anyone has to do is grab the phone and hang it up! :-)

IC: "Anyone else, before I wish the old man good day? Anyone?" Fullarton waived the phone around seeing who else might want to say a word.

Fullarton shrugged his shoulders, then put the phone to his ear, "I'll be looking forward to you stopping by for that visit, dear Gassel, you old weasel. Good day."

With that Fullarton flipped the phone shut. "That damned bastard, I wish he would pay me a visit, but that will not happen, he knows better than to trust me now."

Suddenly, he flipped his phone open again, "Hello? Ah, hold on one minute." He looked around the room, "anyone want to talk to Satan?", and he broke up unto loud laughter again.

OOC: Actually, I'm very ok with this. As it give me the needed entrance I was looking for.

Edit: Shit, I noticed the phone was cut off. Re-do. LOL. One sec.

Edit 2: Hope you don't mind me playing with your character NH. as he should know the Emperor fairly well, and the Assassin mindset better than most. As the previous Emperor was a Pirate for a long while.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

IC: Angel looked completely flustered. So far the meeting had been completely beyond her control, and the laughter around the room seemed more of a childish game than serious talk of removing Gassel from power. She was shocked, and had no idea how to regain control and proceed the meeting to the needed agendas.

"If we could... um..." She managed weakly. No one heard her above the laughter. She looked down at the table, then back over her right shoulder. She mouthed silently help.

With a quick nod, the guard stepped forward. His boots stomping on the floor with military precision, and snapping together when he reached Angels side. "Laughter and horseplay are not going to win the war I have suggested here gentlemen!" He nearly shouted. The room fell silent at the sudden outburst by a mere guard.

King Fullarton looked the guard over, clearly not recognizing the guard with all of his gear on. "And what lowly guard dares to speak to the King of the pirates with such a tone?"

Sanguinius unzipped the body armor and threw it on the table, several rounds of ammunition scattering papers. He then handed his rifle to Angel, whom took it with care and stepped back out of the way. Lastly, he removed the gas mask. The familiar face not quite registering with the King for a moment. "I dare, King Fullarton. I called this meeting, I freed my people, and I will launch a campaign to ruin the Dominion here in Asia. Because I am the Emperor of all Assassins, once dead and now reborn. I am Sanguinius dear King, and I asked you to come here to assist me in what may be the greatest war, and looting opportunity known to man. Help me here, now... and I promise you... you will live forever as a legend as the greatest of all pirates. Do not and Gassel will eventually turn his guns upon you as well."

He waited a beat as the room fully understood whom they were dealing with. "I am the Emperor. Many of you have thought and assumed I was assassinated. Gassel believes me to be dead. That mistake gives us an edge. and that is why, we can win. I need your support. In return, we will begin to liberate each and all of your lands. This island will be the center staging point for our war. Now, enough horseplay....

Who is with me?"

“You’ve been eyeing him the entire time we were here, haven’t you?” Miyazaki asked Ito.

“He had a different posture than the other guards, and was holding his rifle two inches lower than the others,” Miyazaki’s colleague said.

“Fair enough,” he replied. Then, turning to the emperor he stood and replied. “Honored Sanguinius-sama, I am glad to see you in good health, good spirits, and ready to begin operations. I, Miyazaki, speak for all of Chilsherdia and say that we are with you, and will support all of your allies to the last man.”

OOC: I wasn't here way back when the events being referenced would've happened. Can you give me a link to a thread that I can brush up on?

However, Drake would know all this so I'm just going to roll with it.

IC: Drake was a bit shocked by the sudden action of the gaurd. Upon realizing who the outspoken gaurd really was, he was ashamed for not noticing or guessing earlier. Miyazaki had already spoken up, though Drake was unsure how far he could trust the Chilsherdian. He had already admitted he was only in it for the money. Would they still be anti-Dominion if the Dominion suddenly became "better for buisness"?

"I'm with you, Sanguinius. I bring all of the TAADM as well. When history records our victory over the Dominion, it will be you we look back to and thank. Any way we can assist your struggle will be an honorable privilege we can speak about to our grandchildren."

Yu stood from his own table, where had mostly be sitting and watching the others in their own fun. He disrobed his face for the audience to see the horrific nature of Defiance against the Dominion. The mangled right side of his face was certainly not for the weak of heart or stomach. The sheer notion that he could see out of that eye was a miracle in and of itself.

"I will rise with you Emperor" Yu said finally, "but do so knowing the cost first hand. I serve as an example of what fighting the Dominion can cost when one is stubborn to die. I can only hope every man in this room is willing to make such sacrifices for it is such sacrifice all will be made to make if victory is to be achieved."

Sanguinius nodded once, and rolled up his sleeves. Covering them were massive scars from burns above the wrist. He used one hand to stroke the scar on his chin that faded into his left cheek. "I'm fully aware of what must be done, Yu. My chest and back are filled with scars from bullets, to fire, to lash marks. You and I are perhaps the most aware of what is to come, and the prices that must be paid. I will give of my flesh and bone, even my very life if I must... to see each of our lands freed from the Dominion."

OOC: Glad you did that NRE. As I needed to fill in my character a bit. Most of his scars would be covered by clothing, and certainly is not as dramatic as Yu's disfigurements. But, it should be noted that Sanguinius is by no means 'unharmed' from his absence over the years.

OOC: As for a who's character's got more scars I wouldn't rule out the Orgienist, for guys who fight like hell, they also like to whip them selves and other bodily harm for god. I'm not going to bother, and yes I understand your point, but I didn't want to, A. Feel left out and B. I wanted to get back to the point.
IC:

Irgien was finally glad that some one had taken control, Irgien him self was about curse the heathens to hell, but that would get no where. As for the Emperor, Irgien could care less, the man clearly did not serve God, and because of that he deserved no respect, only damnation.

"I agree that the business at hand should be the main conversation, so tell me what you think. Do you not agree freeing the Menhadien Fleet should be our high on our priority list?" Irgien questioned the Emperor, showing no respect or disrespect, "These other men here so far have offered nothing but plans to free their homelands. We Orgienist will fight until God orders us to stop, and we do not need a homeland free from Dominion soldiers to do that. Free the ships, so that we may take the fight to the Dominion." Irgien was fervent in his speech, and as he sat the other monks muttered again "Amen"

But before anyone else spoke Irgien quickly stated, "Jesus, our Lord's only son, did not act out of self preservation, and neither do we Orgienist, we serve our lord, to what ever end." The whole time Irgien started at Drake.

Fullarton stood, and quickly approached Sanguinius, so quickly no one could react. He pulled his cutlass, and Angel stood before her master and pointed her weapon. Sanguinius gently moved her aside and allowed the Pirate King to approach. The King stood nose to nose with the Assassin, then knelt, and put his sword at his feet, saying, "I seldom have respect for any man," he glanced toward others at the table, then continued, "but you, you have earned my respect, and my sword."

Sanguinius looked at the king, then grabbed him by the shoulders and brought him to his feet. That was followed by a long embrace, as if between brothers. No other words needed to be spoken between them, and Fullarton then returned to his seat.

Sanguinius smiled at the display from King Fullarton, and gave the man a respectful nod. He looked at each man at the table, locking eyes in turn with each before continuing. "Your support is greatly appreciated, and will go a long way in liberating each of our lands. However, I'm sure you are wondering how we will accomplish this."

He placed both hands on the table and spoke more animated. "First things first, we need a base of operations. My island here is the best choice we have at the moment. It is heavily fortified, and once cleared of the last few Dominion forces, it will make the perfect staging area for our combined forces. It should be no surprise to anyone here that we have captured several Dominion stockpiles and old Assassin weapon caches. These, coupled with the fleets that are being re-manned and refitted for duty make the next stage possible. From this island, we must break the blockade surrounding us. This will be no easy task, as the island is critically located in the Dominion operating theater. It will be a costly battle, and deadly. But one that we MUST win. And one that we will."

He slowly walked around the room, touching each man on the shoulder. "Once we have the local seas secured, we can begin to liberate each of our homelands. Priority will go to the Menhadian fleet that has been trapped, and the port area that they are located in must be resupplied. We will push inland from there with the assistance of local allied forces. During this operation, we will meet again and begin to plan the next operation."

He stopped back at his original place, having placed his hand on each man. "Until we have the means and strength to operate openly, we must be cautious. The initial breaking of the blockade here must be done with skill and guile. King Fullarton, I'm counting on you here... as your fleets know the in's and out's of the area better than anyone here. The sea battle will be yours to command, and the rest of us shall follow suit. The Assassin fleet is trapped here, but the rest of you are not. My recommendation would be to have our forces run a decoy, and have Fullarton set a trap somewhere, where we can destroy the Dominion fleet. At which point, the battle is yours King. What say you?"

"Aye," said the Pirate, "I'll summon all my mates and assemble a fleet to match the Dominion, if not in fire power, then certainly in fighting spirit. If I know anything it is how to fight at sea, and this will be the fight of a lifetime! I look forward to it."

"Excellent." Sanguinius said with a nod. He leaned to the side as a guard approached him and began to whisper in his ear.

"Gentlemen, unless anyone has something to add I believe we are done here. Please return to your respective homelands, as I'm told a Dominion fleet is approaching our waters. Rest assured, the Assassin fleet will deal with this irritation while you all safely exit."

As the room began to clear out, the Emperor approached King Fullarton. "Dear King... seems I may have to ask for your help sooner than expected..."

OOC: NH, I'm referencing the Dominion cruiser in the other thread. You should know whats going on, however I wanted to tie the two RP's together. ;)

As for everyone else, if you have a comment then now is the time. If not, I'll work on getting a thread up in which we begin to liberate the Assassin island, with small forces from whomever wants to participate aiding in the liberation. I say small, as you will have to run a Dominion blockade in order to get here. Remember, we're setting up a base of operations, so if your characters would like to stay on the island, you are welcome to do so as well.

The military portion will continue here?

I'd like to help out every way I can. Fullarton is in charge of the naval portion it seems, so NH will likely be breaking out the Menhadian fleets for reinforcements. Let me know how I can get in on the naval portion. I've got to liberate some ships!

OOC: I'll be doing it in a separate thread. I'm waiting on it for a day or two until I can get up to speed with the first portion with the AA fleet attacking a Dominion cruiser so everyone can escape my now blockaded island. :P
