Somewhere in Sudeten "Brother", the Protestant bishop of Magdeburg was seriously concerned "in the name of God i do not know what is happening over there," ran his hand over his face, "from what little we managed to find some people talk about demons, those of angels. Many strange things are happening." The day could not be more beautiful The hills glowed a special light that made them look painted some watercolor. The weather was beautiful and the scene seemed really comes from a picture. "Well?" Strasser asked. You would not have done better to ask to some Catholic exorcist?" The other replied gruffly, "I am a theologian, not one that fight the devil in the streets." "And it is a person like you we need, Luther," Strasser said again, "who has never heard of the fineness of Martin Luther Huss, the best known Protestant doctor from the Arctic to Africa? If heresy it is, we need someone who talks with them and try to understand the fundamentals, "paused" before resorting to ways ... more ... vigorous Huss seemed pleased, although it was only a shadow, the smile that appeared on his face "You tempt me praising me like this way, but I imagine that the situation is rather difficult." "It is, and according to the Imperial Secret Service is even worse than we think. " "But nobody can understand what is really happening," concluded the theologian. "Unfortunately no, just rumors, angels, precisely, and demons, medieval thing," Strasser agreed. "Yet the empire, however, wants the evangelical church send someone." "We will do and also the Catholic church in the colony, will send his agent" "Oh yeah?" Luther seemed curious "who?". "A Franciscan nun, name not known to me, is apparently known doctor within the Catholic hierarchy," Strasser seemed strangely reticent, but this mattered little to Huss, his curiosity had been turned on "when I leave?" . "Even now," Strasser was very happy, Huss was the man to accomplish the mission, sly as a snake, sly as a fox, as thin as a knife "A helicopter waits to take you to Augusta and from there to the border with the Amish country is not long way" "There, I meet Dr Catholic?", The playful nickname that had made her smile even Strasser, who knew that funny, though, there was little "Yes, and hopefully become good friends" |

Simon ran up the stair from his underground sanctuary, quickly taking the podium before the archangel, and shouted, "All brothers, come quickly. Gather around, everyone. Michael, our Lord and Master, has spoken to me - spoken of grave danger. Demons approach us from abroad. Deadly demons and non-believers, they come to corrupt our children and destroy our peaceful harmony." "Simon," shouted one man, "we are starving. Our crops will not grow. The devils in the woods are getting bolder, and approaching our homes. Is this a sign from the Angel?" "Blessed are you brother, to have seen the sign. Yes, these outsider demons has cursed us, and we must remove the curse. This will take fire and purging; this will take confronting these demons, disguised as men they are; this will take sacrificing any stranger not known to us, in blood. It is only in blood that we can hope to win this battle." Simon pointed to the grotesque statue of Michael, "The Angel requires it. The Angel demands it. Pick up Michael's sword and take all strangers and foreigners and non-believers and wash yourselves in their blood, clensing yourself and protecting yourself from the powers of these demons! Righteous blood-lust is demanded of you." The crowd cheered and began chanting "Wash us in their blood!" Now a mob, they worked themselves into a frenzy. "Quickly, bring a virgin for sacrifice now, to give us strength through Michael!" A young girl of no more than thirteen was dragged onto the alter, and tied own. She made no sound, and offered no resistance. Simon approached her and stood over her draped body, then took a knife and ripped off her garb, leaving her naked, yet silent. "Michael demands your soul so he may give us strength. Lord Michael, take this as an offering for your most powerful sword, the sword that slew God. The sword that slew Christ. The sword that keeps Satan at bay. Protect us all." Simon deftly plunged the knife into the girl's heart, and gave a hard jerk and a twist. She expired silently. He then reached into her chest, and pulled his hands free, covered with blood. "For our lord, we drink." Simon then began to greedily lick the blood from his hands, then dipped them into the corpse again, and began moving through the mob, each eager to taste the warm blood. In no time, everyone's lips were covered with the blood of the innocent sacrifice. Simon returned to the alter, untied the body, threw it over his shoulder, and began down the stairs to his secret place, to do whatever unspeakable things he did to the sacrificed bodies. The mob began dispersing, looking for unfamiliar faces and foreign travelers. Edited by New Harumf, May 30 2010, 09:51 AM.

OCC: Thanks, i'm glad you like it. Augsburg - Borders between amish children and the Reich From there began the land of the Amish, Luther knew little or nothing about the history of the Amish people, and how they managed to dominate half German nation. He only knew that they were peaceful, so the news that he had read the report that Strasser had given him had seemed incredible, however, reflected, for a nation that still lived as in 1700, both the wars of the Dominion that the current economic crisis had to be heavy. A cloud of dust announced a truck coming, it was an anonymous bus yellow, those for school. He stopped and got out a pretty nun. "You have to be the pastor Martin Luther Huss true?", The voice was lovely and the girl could not have more than thirty years. "Yes, I guess you're sent to the colony is not so?". She smiled graciously, "Yes, my name is Franca Nardelli, are Italian," held out his hand, Luther shook her gently, she had a skin as a top model and everything seemed to except a Catholic nun. A jeep arrived ten minutes later, she had since removed the dress as a nun and had worn a unpretentious tracksuit . Huss noted that such was even more pretty, but then the black dress of the nuns had always seemed a waste, "Make me holy, My Lord" said Augustine, moreover, "but not right away," laughed to himself. "Are we ready?" He asked. "The Luther," she said, moving with ease in an informal ninth of baptism. He did not pray "Then we go Dr, Cattholic" said "we have a nice trip to do." "One moment," she said giggling the nickname that had buckled "I take my makeup bag." As the jeep sped across the border, Luther thought that was not a trick bag. |

As the investigating party prepared for their expedition into the Amish Children lands they payed little attention to the dense forest before them. They did not imediately observe that no road continued into the woods, or the ground-hugging fog that wafted out towards them, then rushed away, making the forest appear to resperate. They also didn't notice the hundreds of heavily-lidded eyes that watched them from the dense undergrowth; eyes just off the ground, red, bloodshot, not blinking. Suddenly, bushes in front of them began to rustle, then a loud, clumping noise could be heard. All heads turned as the strangest site walked out of the woods. Short, dressed in a dark blue silk shirt, camo shorts, and a pith helmet, a strange man approached them. "Herro? Who ah you, and wha you wan hel?" Luther looked at this strange fellow, and said, "I think the better question is who, or what, are you?" "Me?" said the strange man. "I am Birry Dee, tour guide Derux! Who de hot babe, grrrrrr! Vely pletty! Wanna know what paladise is, bay-bee?" This comment was followed by any number of semi-pornographic Michael Jackson moves. Edited by New Harumf, May 31 2010, 01:57 PM.

The strange guy seemed decidedly out of my mind, Luther stared intrigued but not without some apprehension; even Franca seems restless, the two looked "Mr Dee," Franca saind in a accent free German " Can we know how to help you? We would have a haste to reach the nearest village." "I hope you know how to shoot," she said with that innocent look at Luther's eyes widened "I was boxing," said Huss, "as a military chaplain have been the best." "Well, because I fear that there will need" |

Birry Dee laughed a high, squeeky laugh. Then, "You do not need guns or fists, not with Birry Dee at your service! I can read you ar the way to the Amish capitar, at a modest cost of . . . wait, you do have money, right?" "We have money," said Franca. How much do you want? "Oh, not much. Birry Dee very reasonaber. Five tousand Swiss Francs wirr get you dere. Oh, and baby, you eva need a job, you rook up Birry Dee, I make you a rich rady!" "Sir," said Luther, "none of that inuendo, understand? Now, as to business, you lead us safely to this capital city, and we will give you five thousand francs. When we arrive safely." "Oh, he he he he!" Birry said. "You tink Birry Dee stupidest man in the folest! I take twenty-five hundred now, twenty-five hundred rater! Our first step is to get to virrage jus couper mires into the fog. You see what a good guide Birry Dee is." "Oh, all right," said Franca. She opened a money belt around her waist and pulled out a wad of cash, and counted some out into a neat pile on the hood of the jeep. "Count it." "Oh, prease, Birry trusts you," and he grabed the wad of money and stuffed it in his baggy cargo pockets. "Now," said Birry, "no roads, and narrow paths, so no cars arroud. You forrow me, and stay crose." With that said, Birry rushed into the undergrowth and disappeared into a dense fog. Everyone in the party exchanged looks, then quickly grabbed their packs and rushed after Birry. The eyes that had been secretly watching them disappeared like magic. What they didn't know was that as soon as Birry was out of sight he pulled out a small devise and turned it on. When he was first kidnapped from his room in Swiss Nag Ehoeg by the loan sharks after him, then driven to the edge of the Amish lands and told to start walking, Birry had a small ultra-sonic devise in his pocket that was supposed to cause sexual stimulation. He had forgotten all about it until the first of the demon creatures leaped toward him. He turned and tried to run, but tripped on a root in the dense fog, but as he fell, a branch clipped his pocket and jarred on the devise, and the creature howled as if hurt, and ran away. From that moment on, he had never been bothered, even though it took him days to discover he had accidently turned it on. Since then, he has remained hidden in the Amish Children's land, unseen and unmolested, coming out from time to time to meet adventurers and explorers and pretending to be their guide. He would lead them in for a day, then, the first night, he would rob them as they slept and slip out of their camp, leaving them to be devoured by the creatures. "We have been walking through this forest for four hours, and I can't even see my hand in front of my face because of this cursed fog," said Franca. "This is truly a damned land." "Yes," said Luther, "God has abandoned . . . . " Before he could finish they heard a low growl off to their left that sent chills down their spines. "Ah, the rittle ones al so cute," said Birry, "come on, scardy cats, we al armost there!" Just as he spoke, they broke through into a clearing in the forest. The fog was too thick to see anything, but Birry chirped up, "See, I tord you, here we camp fo de night!" With Birry leading the way they traversed about 100 yards into the clearing to find a low-sitting building, almost a bunker, with narrow slits for windows and only one low door in the front. "Here we be! We sreep and get a fresh start in de morning." Birry slowly opened the door, then stepped back as if expecting something to charge out, but nothing happened. They all carefully stepped in and saw a large sunken room, about 20 feet by twenty feet, furnished with about eight bunks along the walls. There were wooden cabinets with stainless steel fixtures on the walls, several gaping open showing Dominion military RTE rations, stacks of water bottles, a few first aid kits and other supplies one would expect to find in a military outpost. "Dis is ord Dominion station. The rair road near here, just to the west, and we can forrow it arr de way to de capitar city! See, Birry Dee is a genius!" Birry threw his meager pack and pith helmet on one of the bunks and said, "I sreep here! Hey baby, we got a bunk right next to me, what say we push dem together and get com-for-ta-ber tonight!" "Mr. Dee, you are quite disgusting," said Franca. "He he he he, yes, I am, but Birry Dee rear good in de sack! I even got some toys!" With that, Birry pilled a box out from under the bunk, and everyone could see it was filled with an entire Adult Bookstore's worth of sexual devices, encluding hand cuffs and gags. "Mr. Dee, enough of that!" shouted Luther as he pushed the box back under the bed. "We have no interest in your sexual proclivities. At all! You will stop this sort of talk NOW, do you understand?" "Birry Dee understand you are a spoir sport!" Birry sat on his bunk, and said, "Werr, then, get yourserves something to eat, and then get your rest, we a rong wark tomorrow." |

Definitely they didn't like neither environment or company . Frank cast apprehensive glances at the forest, where Birry was gone in search of food. Luther, meanwhile, did not believe, I had believed for one second that Birry had good intentions. "Sister," he said "pull out whatever weapon you have, I fear we need it very soon." She said instead, "What will happened to their land? I knew you were not rich, but I did not think were so depraved ...? ". Luther shook his head "I do not know," answered "this Birry is very uneducated, but I recall that their theologians were exceptional, and everyone knew to read and write." "And why not?" Said the nun "is not said that should have horns, but do not tell me you've never seen the devil on the battlefield right?" Luther nodded "And he looked too human to pleasure me." The howling, but maybe they were more than one, was repeated. "Please," he said throwing a ration Franca kept out of the car "I have brought with them, and I recommend you sleep with both eyes open, even better would be if you please." She nodded and pulled out a small rosary OCC: Hoping you are enjoying Edited by Filo, Jun 7 2010, 01:14 PM.

Birry waited for his opportunity. Once everyone was asleep he would take the wad of bills and leave them to their fate. He watched through one eye while he pretended to be asleep. "Damn," he thought, "If onry Franca wourd farr asreep I courd maybe grab a ferr!" The time had come. Birry slowly got out of his cot and moved as quietly as he could toward the bunk where Franca was laying. He stubbed his toe on the way, and almost let out a scream, but covered his mouth to stifle himself, then knelt down and began going through her pack. He ruffled around for what seemed an eternity, unable to find any cash, so he hastily dumped everything out on the floor. Beads, a bible, more beads, some "feminine" products. "No condoms," Birry thought. "Foorish girr, shourd arways have condoms, some guys not as prepared as Birry Dee." Finally, he found a wad of bills in her pack's liner, which he stuffed into his pants. Then, he looked at the sleeping Franca, smiled, and thought, "One touch before I reave cannot hurt!" He reached his hands toward her breasts, and right before he grabbed them, she rolled over and pointed a Ruger right between his eyes! "Now what do you think you are doing, Mr. Dee?" she said. "Oh, now, he, he, don be mad, there was a rizzard on you, and I was going to move it!" Franca rolled her eyes, then said, "Mr. Dee, you are disgusting. So, now, I see, you were planning to rob us all along, and then what, leave us for dead?" Birry feined shock and surprise! "Oh, lady, that never Birry's pran. Birry wan onry to herp you. You can trust me!" "I think not," said Franca as she started to sit up. In a flash, Birry grabbed the empty backpack, and in one quick move, stuffed it over her head. She fired but missed Birry by a mile, but put a hole in the south wall, she kept on firing blind, waking up everyone else in the room, but Birry ran like a flash in the dark, reached for his own pack by his bunk, and ran out the door. Franca finally pulled the pack off her head and ran toward the door after him, but when she looked outside she could see nothing in the fog and dark. As her eyes got used to the view, she saw red eyes starting to come closer and closer to the building. Finally, she saw a quick blurr in front of her, and she fired, and a loud, painful howl broke the stillness outside, followed by more blurrs. She slammed the door just in time as a THUD, and another THUD hit against the steel door. Several more THUDS here heard, then all was quiet. Edited by New Harumf, Jun 8 2010, 11:06 AM.

It happened so fast that Luther had not even been able to react. The Amish had tried to do something to Franca, Luther imagined something sex maniac, but she was taken as a snake. Younger and more agile than the Lutheran pastor, the nun had slipped into the woods in pursuit of Mr. Dee. "Damned Italians!" He murmured "Papist hotheads" and he threw himself into the chase. In the fog, he saw something, a sort of home, though a building. Distinctly heard the sound of something hitting the door and walls. When Luther was nearby saw the figures in the fog. If he were Catholic, Luther, he would have did the cross sign, whatever they were, they were not human, or at least not appeared. Luther tried to appeal to reason. The devil could have a thousand forms, but Luther was accustomed to seeing him with a transcendent entity, like God, but evil. They Could not be demons. And then what? He did not have time to think again, the creatures they saw him and approached growling as predators. "Come," Luther said "my faith and my fists will have the better of you" |

And the beastmen did not wait. They looked human, at least in part, but had evidently traits of animals, some kind of predator, a wolf may be. Luther said a quick prayer, these animals seemed to be demons, but when the first was within the scope of his fist, rolled on the ground howling like a normal creature. The right of Luther was still deadly, but the second of the two was on him with amazing speed. His claws could hardly hurt the minister. Luther dodged the blow to the scraped and tried to return the gift, but the demon escaped the attack. "Well," said Luther, "you put where I wanted," an uppercut crashed at full speed on the opponent's jaw, which broke with a loud crack. The first animal, however, was again up and ready to attack. This time, Luther was not quick to dodge the blow and was swept away by the creature. Claws penetrated deeply into his shoulder. They were sharp as razors and ached. With a kick, settled in the lower parts, Luther broke free from the grip, the demon was ready for a second charge. Luther managed to dodge the blow but fell to the ground in the grass, defenseless and prone, the monster would quartered him. He reached the tall grass looking for something to defend, founding something. It was a blacksmith's hammer (OCC: Sorry I could not resist), He crashed it with all the strength he had, on the face of the opponent. The brain darted off in all directions. A shadow was over him, the monster with a jaw split, although beset by pain was coming to kill him. There was a bang and the creature fell to the grass in a pool of blood. "Hey Dr. Catholic," said Luther, tired but happy "you're alive." Franca wiped his face with one hand, she was dirty with soot and cobwebs "Alive and also in form, but that shit of Dee ran off." "Never mind," whistled Luther "means that we will find the way alone with the help of God." |

OOC: Your best bet is to locate the railroad tracks installed by the Dominion. It is just a short ways from the building you were in, and is a controlled grade, meaning it is fenced and either sunken or elevated, thur protecting you somewhat from the demons that are about. Once your team trecks to a city, I'll jump back in. |

Somewhere in Amish nation The forest was still dark and black. There was no sign of life and, like a gothic novel, the darkness was broken only by some light cone. "Where are we going, Luther?" Said Franca. Luther peered at the horizon, but saw only an expanse of trees, "I have no idea," he said laconically, "we hope that God will help us in some way." They walked for most of the day, then when the sun began to fall they decided to stop. "What were those creatures?" Asked the nun at the end. Luther shook his head "I do not know, not demons, that no, I smashed his head like a melon. The girl shuddered "Oh my god." "Well, was not much choice, either me or him," Luther said simply. Look!" He said at one point the girl "what?". Luther who had fallen asleep woke with a start "What?". "Down!" She said. Liked, Luther saw in a clearing, the moonlight illuminate something in the dark of night seemed like a small star. "It seems ... metal," he said. The two men, cautiously approached, and noticed that it was a sleeper, the track was a train. "Let us follow him," she said, "but must go somewhere." |

A warm sun rose by surprise, strangled by a wall of fog, slight but persistent, as if a thin layer of flax was laid on the forest. Franca smoothed cold, the fog had penetrated the bone. Luther instead looked up already for some time. He was standing we was training with his hammer, although it was cold he was shirtless and sweating. Franca could not help thinking a little unreligiously, and inside her murmured an Ave Maria. When Luther realized that she was awake, smiled at her. The "Hail Mary" became two. "Did you sleep well?" He asked her. "Not too much," said the woman "And you?" "Few and reluctantly," he pointed to the forest "there are things in there, I think are like those at home." Luther ran a hand over his head "I think it is better to get back on path." OOC: I add something tomorrow, i hope |

Luthor did not calculated exactly how long it took them two days, maybe more, then eventually the forest ended. Instead of dark hardwood forest opened before them a number of fields. However, once the two realized that something was wrong. The fields were abandoned. Among the wheat grew, weeds and poppies, the gutters were filled with soil not included, all had something unhealthy. "My God Luther," Franca said "what happened here?" The Amish were known for their dedication to agriculture and the order in which they managed their lands. Before them and instead there was only desolation. "You will see the abomination of desolation stand where you do not agree," murmured Luther. "The rails leading up to the city," the nun said "we have to get there and hope that God will send someone to meet." Luther nodded and added "we only hope that God is not in the mood for jokes" |

As the party continued to follow the tracks toward the village, the fences that ran along the controlled-access railroad right-of-way began to get closer to the tracks themself, so close, in fact, that they were in plain view through the still dense fog. Suddenly, without warning the maddening creatures that shadowed tha party during their trek began crashing into the fence's webbing, causing it to buckle, but not give. At any given time, hundreds of these screaming man-eaters would be smashing, howling and hanging onto the fence, only to be periodically knocked away by some sort of shock from an intermitent current. With the fences closer, these demons could better sense Luther and Franca's location, and now made their journey unbearable. With limited ammo, however, they chose to put up with the noise rather than take action. The tracks now began a slow left turn, and as the followed, they came to a halt in front of a gate blocking their way. Examining the scene, they could see that here both fences made a right-angle turn, heading off in opposite directions, perhaps encircling the village before them. The gate showed it was not latched, but when pressure was put on it, it did not budge. "Well, now what?" muttered Franca. "Maybe we could climb over," said Luthor, as if to no one. "Haven't you been paying attention, Padre?" she asked. "If those critters start to climb, some sort of high voltage shock knocks them off the fence. I would be willing to guess this gate is electrified too." "My dear sister," said Luthor. "I've got that in mind. Something must be able to trigger it so it will open, but the question is, which side of the fence is the trigger on? Do you think it was built by the Dominion or the Amish?" "Hmm," said Franca, "my guess would be the Dominion. They built the railroads, so it only stands to reason they built the fences." "Maybe not," said the priest, "I mean, why would the Dominion need to fence off this village? They were not in construction mode when these creatures first attacked, and I can think of no other reason for the fence's existance. If the Amish built the fence, the trigger would probably be mechanical." He gazed through the fog on the other side of the gate trying to make out shapes, when, suddenly, a shot rang out, and hit a support bar of the fence. Both of them quickly hit the ground. Two more shots rang out, wizzing over their head, one actually grazing Franca's hat. "Stop shooting," shouted Franca. "Who is there?" A voice came out of the fog, "I'm here, and I belong here. You don't. Now, get on your way. We don't want any visitors, understand?" "Wait!" exclaimed Luthor. "We come in peace, and simply want to meet with some survivors of this strange afliction covering your land. We want to offer help." "If you want to help, then stand up and give me a clear shot!" said the voice. "I am a man of God," said Luthor, "and the woman with me is also a religious. We do not want to fight." "Men and women of God?" asked the voice. "Which God? Who's God? Look around you, there is no God here!" "God is everywhere," said Franca, "do not be disrespectful to your Lord." "Wait," said the voice. "You are Christian? You aren't with the demon worshipers? Prove it." Luthor stood up, erect, waiting for the shot to pierce him. "Would a demon worshiper trust his Gods to protect him against a man with a rifle? Would a demon worshiper tell you he loves you, even though you want to kill him? Would only someone who trusts the Lord, God, put his faith up before him to protect him?" With that said, Franca stood as well, though slightly behind Luthor. "Hmm," muttered the voice, "well, then, come on in." A click was heard, and slowly the gate opened. When it was completely open, Luthor and Franca walked through to he other side. The gate closed quickly behind them, and the "click" of the locking mechanism could plainly be heard. |
