OOC: This is the plot line to establish Murmanskaya as a European power and introduce them to the world for what they are, and as you'll see, they are incredibly vicious, treacherous, and a complete polar opposite of Eleytheria-Duo; Freedom is a punchline and tool of war for these guys, not a tenant to hold dear. If your a French nation, then I would like to forewarn *any* involvement in this conflict will be viewed as nothing short of an act of War by Murmanskaya. If your a Slavic nation on the other hand, they will generally receive you more warmly. IC: 17 June 20XX, Socialist Republic of Kandalaksha Sergei Sorgolov, President of Kandalaksha, sat at his desk assorting through the bureaucracy of the day. Life in Kandalaksha was difficult, and with their brutal neighbor to their north now powerful enough to annihilate them from the face of the Earth, the pressure was on to gain legitimacy in the eyes of other European Powers. Right now, they weren't even on a single political map, a pitiful place to be, indeed. As he thought to himself, he was caught off guard by his aid bursting through the door, shouting "Comrade President! Comrade President!" over and over. "Calm yourself!" he shouted, "What could be so urgent that you interrupt me first thing in the morning!?" he scolded the breathless man. "Comrade President, it is the Murmanskites! They have pushed through our northern borders!" "What!?" He shouted, "Why was I not informed sooner!?" he bellowed further. The pitiful man cowered where he stood, "W..we tried to con...tact but...but they wiped out our communications..." the mans words trailed off, affixed on something outside of the window. Sergei looked over his shoulder to see several dark silhouettes against the blue sky. Sergei's eyes grew wide when he realized what it was. "Oh, shit..." Moments later, several bombs slammed through the walls of a structure across the street from their office, blowing it to pieces and pancaking the structure in upon itself. In the center of Kandalaksha City, a great column of smoke arose into the air. Rumbling thuds shattered the tranquility throughout other sections of the city as well, the war had begun... Two Hours Later... Sorgolov and his staff have long evacuated the Capital building, but the President himself was in the Newsroom of KNN Station, a news broadcast received across Europe. Preliminary reports were making their way to the fractured Kandalak Military; Nearly a million foot soldiers, and over a thousand armored vehicles punched viciously through the border, toppling over any defenses in their way with brutal effect. The conflict had only just begun, but already much of their assets were destroyed or unprepared for battle, and High command was in disarray. If Kandalaksha was to ever forge its destiny as a sovereign entity, they would need to reach outward, and expose Murmanskaya as the beast it was. They could only hope their message did not fall upon deaf ears... Across Television sets all over Europe, a female Blond reporter was to deliver the shocking news brewing along the Kola Peninsula.
The broadcast was suddenly interrupted by a loud bang and, in a horrifying spectacle, a stream of blood burst from the News anchors head, spraying the desk and walls in a thick coat, her face violently slamming into the counter top. Several indistinct shouts to 'run' and 'they are here' could be heard in the background, followed by more gunshots. Faint moans eventually gave way to silence. Less than a minute later a black uniformed man, holding his sidearm, walked around the desk and pushed the dead woman out of the chair, and sat in her place; His uniform identifying him as a Colonel.

"La Republique Yvelinais supports the actions of Murmanskaya. The stabilization of the Kola penninsula is in the best interests of all of Europe, and we can only hope that Murmanskaya, as a democratic nation, is able to bring peace to the troubled region. Should Murmanskaya require any assistance, their friends here in The Republic would be willing to lend a helping hand." |

OOC:  I am stunned the only reply after over 3 weeks is one supporting the slaughter. I am gonna drop this RP until the post-Dominion world, as it would be pointless to tussle Kola while there's a bigger foe creeping into Europe. |
