Recruit Posts: 5 Group: Members Member #500 Joined: April 2, 2009	As you may know, Max Barry, creator of Nationstates, recently removed hosting of the site from OMAC Industries/Jolt, with whom he has had an increasingly rocky business relationship for reasons I won't delve into here. However, the official Nationstates forums are still hosted by Jolt, despite the severing of the relationship otherwise. With the severing of ties with Jolt, there is now the risk that the folks who run Jolt may purge or delete the official NS forums. NS has always made up the vast majority of their forum usage, and apparently Jolt are looking to cut back on that. NS forum users are advised to back up any threads they want to save. But don't take it from me. Map Tsar and Southern Gentleman Posts: 9,266 Group: Admin Member #120 Joined: April 21, 2005	Parently before my time (and before NS users were using the Jolt forums) our good friend CE held the rank of #1 when it came to post count. I think perhaps in the early days they may have used it briefly, but I know for certain that by the time I got here we were using the first incarnation of the present forums. CE might have made a run and succeeded for a time as being the #1 on Jolt as well but I'm not sure. Personally I despise most official online game forums because with hundreds online and all posting at once...kinda hard to feel at home. The Devil's Advocate Posts: 7,238 Group: Admin Member #7 Joined: December 26, 2003	Jolt carried over all the old stats. I think CE was 54th for post count last time I checked... despite not posting for four years. There's nothing important to us on the official forums. Plenty of message board stuff has been lost over the years... but meh. Gotta say... Kandarin has been the best interregional messenger boy we've ever had.
