In for the next one. I was quite pleased with V vs. W. I especially enjoyed the M Night Shyamalan-like plot twist at the end in which it was revealed the mad scientist had originally created both the vampires and werewolves and lost control of his creations. |

Yes, that was quite amusing, and well hidden. I was quite shocked and puzzled when one of the bodies came up as a mad scientist's zombie  It was a good game, and it ended up being something of a nail-biter  |

Yeah, that was odd. Sort of messes up the cop role. Perhaps next time it could be specified that cop's investigation might not detect a conversion on the same night. I have a question: why did lebowski die along with flumes and RD that night? I'm guessing Flumes killed RD and lebowski killed Flumes but who killed lebowski? Paradise commented on that in the game thread. He said that both lebowski and Flumes attacked me and so they came into conflict and died, or something like that. |

So now that the data is all released, how did your major roles/veteran players hypothesis pan out? |

Hmm good question. I think it was of limited use. I made that statement just to see how people would react, but it didn't work and yielded no clues. |

CLEVELAND ROCKS!

I bit Harumf on the 2nd erie fog, night right after the Quaon lynch.... I guessed after that that the erie fog came when someone investigated was bitten. I could be wrong? E? I also think this was a great one. Much more nail bitting for me, I loved it! Nice job E. Paradise called next game. Space themed! I am of course in! Edited by flumes, Feb 9 2009, 02:57 PM.

The eerie fog came after the original Master Vampire's death and after the original Werewolf King's death. All it did was prevent the town from knowing what had happened during the night. About RD's investigations, you sent me your target before the cult-leader sent me the same target. So, at the time of the investigations, I gave you correct information. It was only later that night after you investigated them that they were converted. Sorry. EDIT: I haven't figured out how to show off my big ass super spreadsheet of ultimate awesomeness yet, so here's an excerpt from it. Column: Day 1 Activity Name: Tristan da Cunha "Voted for Raf, then RD, claimed to be “Shotgun,” voted for Raf, then RD, claimed to be Vigilante, voted for Flumes because “he has the most votes,” then Allesandra “following Paradise,” unvoted, then revoted Allesandra to “keep pressure” on her, then voted Quaon following flumes, was lynched on Day 1" Edited by East Anarx, Feb 9 2009, 03:09 PM.

 TC and his antics! E, no problem regarding the investigations; I know I always investigated pretty quickly when the night began, so I didn't really leave room for you to do it another way. Perhaps in future games though, an "order of operations" can define the order when each night role's effect works? |

I'm going to GM the next game and it's going to be in Space. All the roles have already been created and the backstory has been made. The title is going to be (as I already wrote somehwere): "In Space, no one can hear you scream". * * * Now for my analysis of the last game. On first day, I intended to lure cultist votes on me to make them lose their night. My plan as this time was to preserve the balance of power between the three factions. However, on night 1, I investigated RD and discovered he was the cop. On day 2, I saw RD voting for Raf, so technically that meant he had investigated him on night 1 and Raf was really a cultist. So I aligned systematically my vote on RD and I knew in the long run that would make me look like a townie. Raf was lynched, and now I intended to preserve the balance of power between the two remaining factions. On night 2, I investigated Quaon and discovered he was the Werewolf king. I was also pretty sure Huesca was really werewolf. On day 3, To avoid suspicion however, I could not directly target Quaon. I pushed for the lynch of Huesca (practically a gamble because I wasn't 100% sure), thinking that if he was cultist that would technically exclude me from the baddies for the rest of the game (and it did). On night 3, I investigated lebowski and found out he was a vanilla townie. Since he had been playing low profile during the game, this made him a perfect candidate for my zombie. However, at that point, I thought Quaon was the only werewolf left, so I decided to "wait" before converting lebowski and rather concentrate on "balancing" the teams by lynching innocent townies. However, I found on day 4 that RD had investigated Quaon and I had to align my vote on him to avoid suspicion. At this point, I thought I was the only bad guy left, I didn't know flumes had been infested during an eerie fog. On night 4, I had to make my zombie, so I converted lebowski right away. I had to re-investigate him before doing so, that prevented me from investigating a new player. On day 5, I knew that if I wanted to win I had to kill RD, and before killing RD I had to kill Allesandra. So basically, I "followed the crowd" and voted Allesandra. On night 5, I sent my zombie to attack RD, and I investigated NH. I was shocked to hear that NH was a werewolf (I thought they were dead), I was even surprised to see my zombie die along with flumes and RD. At this point, on day 6, I couldn't win anymore so I decided to bring the Werewolves in death with me by establishing my true identity. That pretty much sums it all. |

What a game. Excellent work, E. Paradise, when you claimed to be the town's "trump card" I took your word for it and thought you were some sort of exorcist-type role who could convert cult back into townies. |

I'm going to keep my role a secret. But needless to say I was a good guy. I will let the secrecy of my role add to E's awesomeness. Edit: I'm in for the next one. Edited by Menhad, Feb 9 2009, 04:21 PM.

I chose "trump card" ONLY to become a primary target for the Cult, but it did not work. The Cult was too eager to find vanilla townies. |
