Can you briefly describe the differences between the Vampire, Werewolf, and Town teams, and a few of the roles that may or may not appear in the game? |

Vampires vs. Werewolves? I've seen Werewolves games, not Vampires vs. Werewolves. |

I think he might be sorta making this up as we go along. ^^ But it sounds fun nonetheless. |

Come on, join! It may sound crazy, but it'll be fun, I guarantee it. I will wait until tomorrow afternoon before I begin, to allow for more people to join. |

I'd rather not, to keep a certain degree of secrecy in play. Suffice it to say, information will be given to those who need it. |

It's just like mafia. Everyone gets to vote during the day, some people get to do different things during the night. The town is one team. The vampires are one team. The werewolves are another. EDIT: Individual roles will be explained on a need-to-know basis. In other words, your role will be explained when you get it. Edited by East Anarx, Jan 26 2009, 07:11 PM.

I doubt it will work. Three teams will only bring more confusion for the townies. Instead of having a standard two-dimensional game theory, we will have a tree-dimensional game theory. Basically, it will triple the uncertainty... |

You should reveal all the roles at least. I was looking the werewolves games on the ParadoxPlaza forum, and in each of them ALL the "possible" roles are revealed (I didn't check if all of them were really used). This is only to know what we should expect. |

You should. Last game I was counting on some one to be the miller towards the end. |

I'd really much rather keep everything a secret. Just for the game that I happen to be GMing. What other GMs do I could care less. But I want to try this. That said, I added a poll. If a majority votes for me to reveal, then I will. |

But then we don't know what can be done, if there is a doctor, if there isn't, etc. It severely screws with the ability of the townies to fight, especially if werewolves and vampires can PM each other their roles during the night. Townies at least should know their roles, if for nothing more than balance issues. |

I vote no to telling us everything, but I basically think it should be like Raf's games: we should know the basic roles that will be there (cop, doctor, mafiates, don,...) but still leave other things as surprises (like the serial killer in the first game). |

How come there are 12 players signed up and 15 votes in the poll? |

I'm wondering that myself...\\ EDIT: Technically, there's 13 players signed up, if you count me. Edited by East Anarx, Jan 27 2009, 05:08 PM.
