I just got Call of Duty: World at War, and was wondering if anyone has thoughts on the value of XBox Live. Is it worth it for me to spend the $20 and get a three month subscription? |

I played Gears of War 2 on Xbox Live, and I found the "Horde" mode to be VERY addictive. |

No, it's not. It's worth it to find a sale online (Newegg usually has something going) where it's $30 or $40 for 13 months. Also I'd off my XBLive account but my 360 RROD'd a few days ago. |

How's Fable 2 working out for you? Playing Guitar Hero 4 / Rock Band ok on your PC? Disappointed by Halo 3 or not? How'd you like the extra Portal maps? Any opinion on Haze? I think Twilight Princess wasn't as good as Ocarina of Time - you? Don't you think that Trauma Center is a refreshing change of pace compared to most generic shooters and RTS games? |

In my opinion PC gaming offers a much more rich experience. That said, have fun not playing Portal Prelude on the 360, have fun playing the console versions of the Orange Box, and other Valve games, have fun playing CoD 4 and Assassin's Creed with forcibly scaled back graphics, and have fun not being able to upgrade hardware! Heh... I know, sounds bad from someone who owns a 360, but I honestly prefer PC gaming at this point. |

Fable might have been nice to try. Guitar Hero. Ick. Halo 3 I am, in fact, disappointed with; it's part of the reason I left my 360 at home with my bro when I moved up to school. Zelda I hadn't thought of, I'll admit, as I still haven't played Twilight Princess. But, thankfully, that's on the Wii, too. Never heard of Haze or Trauma Center. |
