I'm doing this for my NS2 nation. I'm building an aristocracy for it, and making various family members in line for various titles... blah blah blah

Is this the right way to be doing names? This is for the House of Matroska

Coming up with first names is interesting, but not impossible.

Some of the females appear to have male names, unless those names are supposed to be female in your IC Ulganian language. Also in these sort of things I personally prefer lines of descent coming off the father's name, or the double-line. But, to each his own.

Are you modeling this on any particular type of line? Russian? English? French?

I've been drawing from Russian for a lot of the names/name structure. Names them selves are Russian and German.

Well, Men, middle names are Father's name + "ich". Women are father's name + "ova", and are frequently refered by this tag. I.E. Peter Illich Tschawsky's (sp?) father's name was Illiai (Try phonetics, I can't spell Russian in English). So, if my father was "Peter" I'd be "Petrivich" and my sister would be "Petrinova". Doubt that helps you with your chart tho.

I already have that covered in the chart pretty well.

Although I just realized I'm using the name Luciola for a girl... and it's technically male.
